Kids had a blast, and so did I ! Good value for some retro games and entertainment. Highly recommended.

Stopped by this place on a Sunday afternoon, and what a trip it was! Instant flashback to the 80's and my misspent youth. The concept is a cool one. Set up a bunch of video games and pinball machines; put them all on Free Play, charge admission to the place, and round it out by selling drinks and food. And at $5 for adults and $3 for kids under 12, it's a damn good deal. The place isn't huge, and since we were there on a weekend it was relatively busy, but we still got to play everything we wanted, and spent very little time waiting for anything. Every last inch of wall space was filled with games, which had its good and bad points. Good that there were as many games as possible to choose from. Bad that some were rendered unplayable at times if the machine next to it was used by two players at the same time. All in all though, an enjoyable way to spend a few hours. I didn't end up trying any of the food due to timing (it doesn't open until 2pm, so we had already had lunch), but what others were eating actually looked and smelled pretty good!

Georgian Bowl

I went into the Collingwood Georgian Bowl with my friend-group for some friendly bowling, we had a…read moregood time, food and drinks were also good, overall the experience was fun and a good way to fill time with your friends or family. It wasn't until we were leaving that i received a snarky comment from one of the employees telling us to basically grab our stuff and get out asap "You guys finished your lane, now get out!" There wasn't a moment in our groups time at the bowling alley where we were disrespectful or not following the set rules, when she said no outside drinks we didn't argue with her we kindly agreed and brought them right back to the car. I had a good time at this bowling alley but if your looking for some more optimistic and empathetic workers, Id most definitely find another place to go bowling.I don't know if i'll be returning back.

This little alley was about 15 minutes away, and felt like we actually traveled back in time when I walked in. Pretty small venue, and they only have 5-pin bowling which is actually super hard! They had shoe sizes for men up to a size 15 which was great - we actually had someone who needed that size! We didn't eat while we were there, but it looked like they had a nice selection of 'bowling food' (like fried goodness, beer, etc.). The facilities were clean and well-kept, the staff we interacted with minimally were helpful and friendly, and the bowling was super fun even though I wasn't good at it ...haha. The screens above you also told you how fast you were launching the ball down the lane, that was pretty neat. There was a pretty decent-sized arcade as well, with air hockey and some other huge arcade games with lights that I wasn't familiar with. I think if I lived in Collingwood, this would be a fun place to visit on weekends to get my bowl-on. The only thing missing was 10-pin bowling, but I would surely come back to try and improve my 5-pin game!

This was our first return to Putting Edge since they moved into the Colossus plaza after the huge…read morefacility they had near IKEA/Dave and Buster's. We were a bit skeptical of how it would measure up, because it's in a much smaller unit, but we turned out pleasantly impressed. The one obvious improvement is that it's newer than the old facility, but it's been a few years since they moved. Yet, it is still very fresh and clean. We booked our tickets online prior to going, as recommended on their website, to avoid any wait behind others to get started. Sure enough, we only had to wait a couple of minutes once we arrived to get started. In the meantime, we wandered among the arcade amusements you can enjoy. You can purchase ticket packages in bulk if you want to enjoy the arcade machines and games in lieu of or in addition to your mini golf experience. We were handed out putters and able to choose what colour glow-in-dark ball we wanted. We were able to begin right away. Throughout the entire 18 holes, we rarely had to worry about waiting on people ahead of us, or causing delay to anyone behind. It wasn't perfect, but it was a testament to how well they manage to stagger entrants. All of the holes were different, in terms of layout and paint design. Everything was aesthetically pleasing. The challenge level was a good medium so that you don't want to scream with frustration, but not so easy as to make it absolutely boring. I'd say we spent maybe 90 minutes or so in total to complete the course. We were asked if we'd like to have a scorecard to keep track, which we did. It wasn't always easy keeping up, moving along, and writing scores on the fly, but it made it a little more fun to keep the competitive streak running. We dropped our putters off before exiting the course and were done. It was a great family activity, which I'd recommend with any group you might want to play with. They also offer party packages, with a full sized party area to accommodate a celebratory meal. We'll definitely return every so often for a fun, family experience.

Perfect for date nights or even a fun day out with the family, this mini golf place definitely delivers! Psychedelic colours await you with distorted shapes and figures covered in neon as you putt through all the rounds of a really fun and different course. Each hole is different and has it's own charm. Staff are friendly and even when it's not super busy, it's still a great day out. With such an affordable price, I'll definitely be back!

Arcade games mostly look to be the same offering at the other location, except this location also has an aerial obstacle course and a few that I didnt see at fairview. Food is yuck. The arcade space here is massive featuring many games as well as an elevated rope course and several air hockey tables. We took advantage of the $20 eat up game on deal for kids to have a meal and 1 hr all-you-can-play which can be activated after the meal is eaten to maximize the fun including claw machines. Card fee is extra but can be recharged via a prior game card. There is a large dining space in addition to the party runs ideal for group gatherings. The kids meals were huge, including large pizza slices or burgers that came with fries and a pop drink. Suffice to say our group had a great time at Playdium Whitby for several hours. We miss the old batting diamond at the OG location but this reinvention with Cineplex targets younger kids. Skip it or hit it? Playdium is once again a great place to play and we're glad they're popping up all over the GTA including at this Whitby location.
