Shows he is a true fish geek. The saltwater tanks all look pristine, and there are some very impressive fish being kept in the store. One huge tank installed near the ceiling even houses a full grown emperor angel! Very cool to see. I was very happy with the coral selection, prices were fair, and once again the owners knowledge of corals was very impressive. Told him my set up and got the ok to finally jump into sps corals. He couldn't have been more right. All corals are growing fast. The biggest concern was the overall health of the animals. Several pets did not appear to be in the condition I would expect from a store that is supposed to prioritize animal welfare. It's heartbreaking to see living animals treated as inventory instead of being properly cared for. The staff was another major issue. They were unfriendly, dismissive, and seemed to have very little knowledge about the animals they were selling. I was given incorrect information about proper reptile lighting, which could seriously affect an animal's health if a new owner followed that advice. A pet store should be a reliable source of accurate husbandry information, not misinformation. Customer service was just as disappointing. It was difficult to get anyone's attention, and when I finally did, I felt like I was inconveniencing the employees. The manager was rude, unprofessional, and showed little interest in addressing concerns or helping resolve problems. The store also had very little inventory compared to what was advertised, making the trip a waste of time. To make matters worse, they refused to honor valid, unexpired coupons and provided inconsistent explanations as to why they wouldn't accept them. I also noticed products, including food and medications, that appeared to be expired or approaching expiration. That's unacceptable for products intended to keep pets healthy. Overall, this store needs significant improvement in employee training, customer service, inventory management, and its commitment to both animal welfare and the customers who trust them. Until those issues are addressed, I cannot recommend shopping here.

They also have some critters that are just really cool to look at like a handful of big fully grown Discus fish, an Axolotl, a sweet white crawfish, a rare puffer fish and a very small tank sitting on the front desk with the tiniest fish no bigger than half an inch. My husband and I came here to check it out and the owner was super friendly and helpful. He gave us a lot of advice and answered all our questions, didn't brush off any questions and made sure to explain things in detail. We'll definitely come back here to purchase some fish later.
