My fiance and I made our first purchase from Sunset Coast Provisions today. First of all, everyone from the lady running the check in desk to our budtender was knowledgeable and very friendly. We were buzzed to the back immediately. We were there to buy , so we didn't spend much time looking around, but they had a wide variety of bulk and prepackaged flower, along with a good selection of edibles, vapes, waxes, drinks, etc. I bought an ounce of top shelf bulk for $40 and a prepacked 8th of "brand name" for $20, which are fair prices for the Michiana area. Best of all, I'm a huge fan of Carrie Fisher, so I appreciate the fact that this dispensary is decorated with items that reference my favorite Carrie movies: Star Wars and The Blues Brothers! In short, I *highly* recommend Sunset Coast and will most certainly be back in the future! read more

I went to Sunset Coast for the first time the other day and it was a a nice setup. It was nice and clean, no lines and wasn't packed. Although they just started and are still learning the ropes the staff was relatively knowledgeable about their products and had a nice variety and selection of items. I was in the area for an event, and I wanted to pick up some product before heading home. Received multiple recommendations for Sunset Coast. Immediately upon arriving, I was welcomed into a spacious, clean facility that somehow still felt cozy (I think it was the friendly people!). It was 10:30am on a Saturday, and I was only one of two people there. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about their products and answered every question I had while making me feel at home. The manager on site was also very nice/helpful and even threw in a free cart for me since she saw I was buying multiple other carts of a particular product, as well as an event coupon for $10 off. Their sales/specials aren't necessarily stuff they're trying to get rid of... they simply just rotate their specials which is really cool. Great value for the money, great staff, great facility. As quick as I was to leave my previous review, that all changed this last time I found myself at Sunset Coast. I had placed an order online, which was ready for me when I arrived in the early afternoon. A budtender promptly came outside to assist me, taking my ID before returning a second time to take my payment. On the third time he returned with my change & sealed package, I tipped (generously) and was on my way. Within 10 seconds of pulling out of SC, I opened my bag and discovered I had received the wrong items. Where I had meant to order cartridges, I ordered concentrates by mistake. I immediately did a U-turn and was back in the lobby within 60 seconds of initially leaving the parking lot. The woman working the window was very polite, I explained to her my situation and that I was hoping to exchange the products. She called the manager up, who was only able to tell me they do not offer exchanges, and proceeded to try to sell me one of their expensive smoking rigs at a discounted price to be able to smoke my concentrates. I let her know that whatever I had purchased by mistake was not a form of cannabis I was familiar smoking, and what was a cheaper option to ingest it? She said I could sprinkle some on top of my flower in a bowl, or in a joint. She offered to give me a cheap pipe for free for my trouble. Defeated, I purchased a prepackaged quarter & went on my way. Oh, and the "free pipe"? I was still charged for it smh. I ended up not even opening the boxes of concentrates and just selling them at a loss to a coworker. When I relayed to him how the manager told me to smoke it, he just laughed & told me that that is absolutely what u do NOT want to do. I have not been back to Sunset Coast, and have since been going across the street to BE where I've had solid & consistent service. read more

Used to be my go to! WAS the best in the area. Tried 3 times to use rewards and everytime was a reason why we couldn't. 1st time they stated we couldn't use it on a sale item. Understand. Except that the item we ordered online did not show a sale price. They said they were just going to call us even though it took us 15 minutes to arrive after they said the order was ready. 2nd time, went to order online and everything has a sale price as low as 1 cent so we couldn't use the points on flower. 3rd and last time. Came to window and asked us how much our order was. Told us not to worry about the change part because they round up. For cash? No where else does that for cash. They went inside with our cash and came out a few minutes later no apologetic saying that they forgot to apply the points making our order full price. Told us the points will go back into the system and they will throw a few dollars on there too. What is the sense if the last 3 times we have been to their dispo, there is an issue using the points. No communication prior to them making these decisions themselves. Also just throwing a couple of bucks on a reward system that is hard to use is by far the worst thing you can do when a customer keeps having issues. If you try to ask them questions regarding how and when you can use their points and ask why you keep having issues, they immediately get cocky. Save your time and go across the street to BE provisions. Never had an issue ever using a reward. read more
