I also enjoyed the facial & thought that the products they used for the facial were good quality. Just a note, they are a little bit rougher when they do the facial than some other places I have been to. The facial massage is more firm and same with the arms, etc. The lady who does the facials is strong! I wonder if she also does the massages as they have a RMT service on their website. I will have to ask & try the massage sometime. On Sunday I had a basic pedicure & since I paid cash the price was very reasonable. It's so relaxing to have a pedicure. Lina, who did my pedicure was very good & fast. I even turned on the massage chair though it wasn't that comfortable for me. I think the massage chair isn't made for a petite person like me. LOL. In any case, some of their prices went up a little. Don't be surprised, inflation is making prices go up everywhere & covid supply problems also haven't helped. It is what it is. I still think the prices are reasonable.

I frequently make full use of their services, be they Spa (mani, pedi and facials) as well hair colour and cut. Prior to becoming a client I travelled to Yorkville and was initially reluctant to change. Then one day, the convenient location won me over and I've never looked back! I always appreciate that prior to any hair appointment I am asked if there is anything special or different I wish. My husband is also a very happy customer. I highly recommend this establishment.

So I called last week to get a little bit of run down on what they offered and to see what the best bang for my buck was. I ended up booking a "refreshing facial" and a "relaxing massage". She told me they give a 15% discount for first time guests and that my total would be $140 for both services. Triple freaking whammy!! A facial, massage, AND a discount?! Totally excited for it as I don't EVER get to do anything for myself (I'm a stay at home mom who's family also doesn't live here), as I'm with my daughter all day. So again, SUPER excited for this. I get there, the place is BEAUTIFUL. The lady who did my facial and massage was AMAZING. She was super nice, caring, and did a fantastic job. I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn't for what would next and the phone call after. I go to pay bill, and the lady I spoke with on the phone, was also working the front desk, and she charges me $151. So I thought it was odd and maybe just didn't hear the total properly when I called, so I left and didn't mention anything. I got home and did the math and couldn't figure out why it was off, so I call today. The lady that was working the front desk yesterday and the one I spoke with previously, answered. I politely said that I thought I may have been over charged and before I could get another word out, she says "absolutely not." So that caught me off guard. She then continues by saying that she applied the discount to only one of the services (that's far in my mind), but that instead of charging me for the "relaxing facial" we discussed, she up-charged me for an "extraction facial" because the lady who was performing it, was taking out blackheads (sorry, TMI). So I tried to ask a question when she finished her sentence, but she then over me, says, "excuse me let me finish." So second extremely rude comment. So I then asked her why I service was being performed that I didn't initially book nor was I even told it was going to be an up-charge? She didn't have anything to say other than that she walked in and that's what the lady was doing. She kept interrupting me which didn't make sense since she jumped down my throat for the same thing. So I basically was being charged for a service I didn't even know wasn't part of what I initially booked. Honestly, I've worked in customer service for 5+ years and this just isn't how you talk to a customer. It bothered me so much that I made this post and so much that I won't return even with the work that was done being good. Customer service is huge and if you don't offer that to EVERY guest, you don't deserve my business.
