I enjoyed this salon when I visited years ago but this time under new ownership not only did I pay and and then not receive the tan because I was kicked out of the room after their bed did not work - but was then told there would be no resolving this and only after I threatened to call the police was $14 out of the $18 I paid returned.. Some resolution. If the eyelash technician who did all this had her way, the 40+ minutes she had me wait would have seen me leave with her pocketing the cash. The owner's explanation on the phone was "that's my bestie" (the eyelash technician). Well, that's lovely.. at least they support each other but hopefully they'll start supporting their customers.

love love love loooooove this salon!!!!!!!! amazing service plus a friendly and welcoming vibe…read more I regularly use their Red Light Therapy full body bed (Theralight 360) and it is unlike any other red light treatment around. i first heard about the Theralight 360 bed on a Joe Rogan podcast. then again when Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner posted about using the EXACT SAME ONE (Kendall owns one and Kim owns 2). after researching more about it i learned that there are only TWO of these beds in all of Ontario - one the Toronto Blue Jays own and the other one is at CW Tan and Wellness (where it's recognized by Health Ontario as a medical grade device - unlike any other Red Light bed/panel that's offered by other salons/establishments). Ive suffered from chronic pain for years and thought i would for the rest of my life -- until i started my wellness regiment at this salon. thanks to the knowledgeable and caring staff, the quality and strength of this bed, plus doing sessions in their Infrared Sauna, i can happily say that my pain is actually GONE ... my biggest hope was to get some ease from my symptoms so they weren't as severe - i never could've imagined that it would be gone COMPLETELY. i am so incredibly grateful for this salon, their staff and their equipment, because it has completely changed my life. thank you from the bery bottom of my heart CW!!

Golden Glow staff is very friendly and knowledgable (which is important to me). Thankfully they don't have any high pressure sales tactics when it comes to packages or tanning products. Although having protective eye wear is mandatory and makes sense! The equipment is top of the line and it seems like the bulbs are changed regularly as the tanning experience is fantastic! I've gone for about 4 sessions now and the difference is clear. Tanning packages are priced comparable to salons I've gone to in the past (that offer high pressure beds) and the referral incentives for friends are more than fair. There is a discount for new members as well. I've always found that dirt cheap tanning prices equal a cheap tan that fades quickly. The interior is spotlessly clean and there is free parking available on site (and close) as parking is shared with the attached condo. Also an important component (to me) is the fact that they have a website so I could further research the equipment before going.
