She keeps on leading with the fact "I'm the owner" and goes on to abuse you and not appreciate your business, which I gave them for year, then it's a tell sign of pure arrogance. I was only trying to understand the difference between beds and she won't allow me to speak. I must say she must have bought this place from a previous owners who understood being courteous. Something she needs to learn if plan to stay in business.

love love love loooooove this salon!!!!!!!! amazing service plus a friendly and welcoming vibe…read more I regularly use their Red Light Therapy full body bed (Theralight 360) and it is unlike any other red light treatment around. i first heard about the Theralight 360 bed on a Joe Rogan podcast. then again when Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner posted about using the EXACT SAME ONE (Kendall owns one and Kim owns 2). after researching more about it i learned that there are only TWO of these beds in all of Ontario - one the Toronto Blue Jays own and the other one is at CW Tan and Wellness (where it's recognized by Health Ontario as a medical grade device - unlike any other Red Light bed/panel that's offered by other salons/establishments). Ive suffered from chronic pain for years and thought i would for the rest of my life -- until i started my wellness regiment at this salon. thanks to the knowledgeable and caring staff, the quality and strength of this bed, plus doing sessions in their Infrared Sauna, i can happily say that my pain is actually GONE ... my biggest hope was to get some ease from my symptoms so they weren't as severe - i never could've imagined that it would be gone COMPLETELY. i am so incredibly grateful for this salon, their staff and their equipment, because it has completely changed my life. thank you from the bery bottom of my heart CW!!

One night, he arbitrarily decided to close a half hour, before the scheduled closing time. When I knocked at the door, he just looked at me, through the glass, then, turned around, and walked away. It was really weird. Another issue: the tanning beds are definitely not sanitized. In fact, the times that I went to that salon, I had to wipe down the beds, before using them, because they always had old lotion and sweat from other tanners. Unfortunately, there were no tanning salons closer to where I live. This said, now that there is a Covid-19 pandemic, I don't think that it's at all safe to tan there. I intend to report them to the department of public health.

They have a bed that allows mirrors to tan your face in lieu of being in the bed (for those who don't like enclosed spaces). Stand up, lay down, spray tan. Ranging from cheap to expensive dependant on the bed. Usually I don't write reviews this long and detailed. But this place is sort of misleading itself and I would hate to see my neighbourhood tanning salon be underestimated!

I don't have the worst skin but if you saw my skin from last May compared to this May you will see an improvement. The tanning beds leave a smooth and amazing tan for me for my skin tone. I have never had issues with the beds. I do prefer lying down compared to standing due to injuries and posture. Whenever I go to Planet Sun I always come in happy and leave much more happier.

I don't get in that often but usually…read moresomewhere in the dead of February, when it's -30 out and I have a craving for sunshine, I'll head to Koala Tan for a 6-minute blast of artificial sunshine goodness. Facilities are very clean, non-seedy. Staff is generally friendly, non-attitude. Ample free parking in the lot outside. Appointments not always necessary, and if you have to wait, there's a coffee table full of entertainment mags to keep you busy and a giant stuffed koala mascot that you can pet.

It was on the pricier side but I didn't mind as I felt the ambience alone made up for it but after frequenting this salon I noticed I developed a skin condition from using the beds, which was unfortunate because I really did enjoy the salon. After i stopped going to the salon the condition quickly went away, the dr's I went to said it can happen when beds are not cleaned with the proper solution (eg/ Windex) With more then ample parking and a great staff and environment I really wanted to love this salon but unfortunately it wasn't meant to be :(
