I bought a star rod last year there and it snapped on me the other night I took back since it is under warranty. He basically told me I'm sol and the manner in which he told me was very condescending. I wasn't happy. I also reminded him that the bait he brought 2 weeks ago was horrible. It was thawed out several times it seems like and couldn't even hook it. His response it there's a shortage and whatever his supplier beings is what he have. He was the one also trying to pass off glass minnows as silverside to me a few months ago. Good thing I caught it as I was about to pay for it. Not a good experience dealing with him at all.

I had a very frustrating experience trying to pick up a firearm order at Bass Pro Shops. I recently…read moremoved, and my driver's license still shows my old address. I brought my valid government-issued photo ID along with my current vehicle registration showing my updated physical address. Bass Pro's own pickup instructions say that if the address on your photo ID does not match your current residential address, you may be required to provide a second form of government-issued documentation with your current physical address, such as a vehicle registration, voter ID card, concealed carry permit, hunting license, etc. That is exactly what I brought. My driver's license was my photo ID, and my vehicle registration was the supplemental proof of current address. However, the employee/manager still turned me away and acted like I was trying to use the registration as a photo ID, which was not the case. To make it even more frustrating, I contacted several other local firearm shops afterward, and they all said that a valid driver's license plus current vehicle registration is acceptable for this situation. So it appears this was either a misunderstanding by the store or an overly restrictive store decision that was not clearly explained. I understand firearm sales require strict compliance, and I respect that. But customers should not be turned away when they bring the exact type of documentation Bass Pro's own instructions say may be used. The process was confusing, poorly handled, and wasted my time. Very disappointing experience.

The store was brightly lit and clean, well stocked with a huge selection, and staffed by a super friendly guy named Andrew, who was only too happy to help me find everything I needed. I've been out of the game for a bit and judging by the prices, it seems like 5.11 has gotten very proud of their gear as they seem to be going for people with more money than sense, but you can't blame the brick and mortar guys for the suits decisions...

Will move around in the water so you can be flashing everyone and 2. Will hurt your sternum if you're surfing for longer than 20 minutes. Anything with beads, ties, other lumpy textures in the front of bathing suits is painful when you're on your front paddling. Just saying. Everything looks like surf fashion but I was hoping for actual useful surf stuff. Not many powertops or shorties for when it gets a little chilly either :-/

A young sales man asked if we needed help. I asked a couple of questions. When it seemed I may only be a "sales shopper" he literally rolled his eyes at me while walking away. I said "I saw that. It's great you're rolling your eyes at us." I left the store. I probably would have spent up to $500 on ski clothes for her for Christmas. I guess that's not enough for that young sales man. I will never go back in that store.
