Beautiful atmosphere and food is good too! We got the ceviche and the tuna tartare and both were fine. This place is located on one of the nicer beaches in Ibiza - Cala Comte. Views were stunning and vibes were immaculate. Definitely book in advance as this place gets really packed. Food and drinks are pricey though, however not too unreasonable for a beach side restaurant in Ibiza.

If you decide to dine here on your visit to Ibiza, make sure you book a reservation. This restaurant gets absolutely hectic most likely to its relation to the very beautiful beach and cliffside its next to. I was visiting the neighboring beach and didn't have dinner reservations till late at night so I was able to see how crazy it gets here. First, the hostess is absolutely overwhelmed. She cannot move up your reservation and you most likely will not get the seat selection you want. They have a DJ playing good music. However, they do not have room to accommodate a dance floor. Everything from the bar where the drinks are going out to the best area to dine is just a mess of people. As for the food, it was decent. We had a couple of sushi rolls and an interesting take on some pad thai. Our server also had way too much to deal with, so we were patient. Leaving here at night is not recommended. We had no access to a working phone so we couldn't call a taxi. Only after asking three separate staff members did someone call for us. Everyone is waiting for taxis that will take about thirty minutes to get to that part of the island. We went ahead and split a ride with other tourists on some random driver offering rides to guests. Not the best exit plan but it was better than being there any longer. Good views overall. Leave after sunset.

The location and views are gorgeous. I tried the mixed grilled seafood dish and it was phenomenal. It included three different types of grilled fish, shrimp, grilled calamari, and roasted potatoes. Portion size was very large too. The margarita was too sweet for my liking and lacked a salt rim, but otherwise refreshing after a day of swimming in the sea below. There are plenty of seafood, meat, and sushi options, as well as vegetarian-friendly dishes. I did not try the desserts but they looked stunning on other tables. The service was really great, especially considering how crowded the restaurant was. You definitely pay for the setting and terrace views, but consider it worth it for the experience and incredible scenery. I highly recommend making reservations beforehand -- I was lucky to get one in the late afternoon, but they fill up quickly for dinner and evening times (popular to watch the sunset).

The view at this place is something you NEED to see when you are in Ibiza. Spectacular views that are meant to last in your memories for a life time. The vibe and the music was such a great vibe and having the beach accessible to you is also another plus. The food presentation was amazing. The choices in the menu were very diverse which means there is something for everyone! It's pretty pricey but the view makes up for it. The quality of the food was fantastic but maybe not worth the super high price. I'm giving this place 4 stars because the service was not so great. Servers were not very attentive and it took really long to order a drink or to hound any sever down. Grabbing the check also took very long. Overall this place had good food but really, the best part of it all was catching the beautiful sunset in one of the most godly places in Ibiza!

Can't say enough good things about this place. Everyone goes to Ibiza to party and check out the night life, and you should do that too as it is amazing. But, I think places like this give Ibiza the well deserved reputation of being a place where people with all tastes can enjoy and have a good time. Their is a reason why this place is called the Sunset Ashram. If you want to see a beautiful sunset while you enjoy some amazing food and drinks... along with the possibility of some good music and wonderful weather then this place might be a must stop for you... We really got all of the above and enjoyed it... Some of the pics might show some of it.. Food: The food we had was some of the most exceptional food we had on the island: - Chicken (Pollo) Curry: Nearly the best Chicken curry I have had outside of India. Simply amazing. - Costillas cordero (Rack of Lamb): Was amazing. Very soft and flavorful. - Pulpo braseado (Braised Octopus): Equally amazing as the lamb and maybe the best octopus dish I have had till date. - Tali Vegetal (Vegetarian Thali): Good combination of vegetarian dishes. Would definitely recommend it for vegetarian people. The drinks with the view were exceptional. If in Ibiza, I would recommend this place hands down!!... Go for it.

I have never encountered such rude professionals in all my dining experience. Several servers bumped into me multiple times while I was waiting to be seated and didn't even acknowledge me. The manager-God only knows how she got that title-tried to seat me with another couple. They just oddly looked at her like, "really?" At least the food was good (should be for 25 euro for 8 pieces of sushi) and the view spectacular

Today was my first day in Ibiza and I happen to be staying within walking distace from this beautiful cliffside restaurant. I walked down to have dinner and got what I thought to be the best table in the house right on the corner overlooking both sides of the ocean. The servers where all extremely friendly and quick with service. I ordered few appetizers which were beautifully plated and tasted amazing! I got the filo filled with mozzerella and pesto and a crunchy tuna sushi roll type thing. I can't wait to go back tomorrow to try something else. The restaurant has great vegetarian options as well. Make sure if you go late to make a reservation, the place does get very busy. We got lucky with our walk-in. After we ate we walked down the side of the restaurant to the beach to take photos of the breathtaking sunset which led to some great silhouette photos! I've never seen so many different colors in the sky at once. Also good enough size waves for some surfing here! I will definately be back!

Enjoying a really good dinner coupled with extraordinary drinks (such as the fantastic fresh strawberry Mojito) and live entertainment at this beautiful location makes this place a must visit not just for the sunset and surrounding beach. Had the excellent Burrata salad, very nice lamb chops and finished with an overload of Chocolate. Super friendly but sometimes overwhelmed service.

I have to say, the view is an absolute must see. A completely jaw dropping experience of scenery. As for the food, it's on the pricey upper side. Was it good? Yes but it wasn't the greatest. The view is what makes sunset ashram so popular. I recommended coming here - I Yelp For The People

Nice place, also the Architecture (Ethno-Style), very nice view. Crowded, but efficient waitresses. Drank only, due to the eating disrecommendations.

Great view. Food is good too. I highly recommend this place to all the tourists visiting Ibiza

While this menu was expensive, I will argue that half of the fee was paying for the location, weather, and atmosphere and most of the time I hate that, but this place is just beautiful. Cala Conta... Look it up. It was also a birthday lunch for me so I really didn't care too much. Scarfing my burger down with a beautiful beach and crystal clear water surrounding me would have been easy even if the burger was bad, but I'd say it was delicious. The bun had a nice crunch and the blue cheese spread easily over the tasty caramelized onions when I smushed the top bun down. A very good experience indeed. If you come to Ibiza, I'd definitely suggest coming to Cala Conta even if you don't plan on eating here. #foodcomaking approved!

My friends and I were a group of 6 staying in Ibiza, and after some research we realized this Cala was one of the more popular and beautiful on the island, so off we went. My friend is the one who organized the reservation, but I will say that it did take a bit to get a hold of people. We were initially between the sunbeds with umbrellas and the VIP sunbeds - but could never figure out from the club what the difference was (aside from price). Our 6 Sunbeds and umbrellas with a magnum rosé was about $750 (not including food). When we arrived, we realized that the non-VIP option is in a private area for the CBbC guests, but on a public beach so you on a busy day your front view is quite crowded. If you want to splurge more, you can opt for a VIP area that is just for club guests and no public access, however you will not be waterfront. ANYWAYS - after realizing that whole issue upon arrival, the rest of the day was absolutely fabulous. The staff is super attentive, and the menu is extensive. After the rosé we had some divine Gin and Tonics. The best part about this experience was lunch prepared on the literal sand. They set up tables and umbrellas in front of your chairs with whatever you order. We got a whole grilled fish, boquerones, oysters, salad and of course french fries. Eating beachside may have been one of my fave experiences of the trip. One thing to note when you leave - this area is quite secluded so I would arrange for a driver. They do have a taxi stand but it is super disorganized and the folks at the front check-in area were not very helpful when we were leaving. After about an hour of waiting for a car, we opted to order and uber and it was fine (just pricey). Thankfully, there are plenty of bars in the beach club where we waited with drinks until our car came. Overall, this is a nice experience for a beach day with a group. It will be pricey, but relaxing!

Parking can be a pain, there is a lot at the bottom at the end of the road. Otherwise, park along the road and walk down. We were lucky to snag the last table by the beach. Great view. Just so magical. We started off with bread and fresh olive platter. We ordered the artichokes, a seafood paella for 2, a mixed paella for 2, and a carafe of Sangria. The artichokes was a chilled dish. Seafood had fish, prawns, clams, mussels, calamari, octopus. Mixed had about the same but with chicken and pork as well. It was well seasoned and not dry - very tasty. The Ibizan tomatoes salad (19€) starts with a bed of ripe chopped tomatoes and tops it with a full burrata, which when broken creates a creaminess to the dish. Strawberries and basil add an interesting refreshing element, but I would have skipped the crunchy pistachios that detract from the silkiness of the salad. I can't turn down trying a roasted aubergine (17€), which when done well takes the spongy eggplant and turns it into a creamy concoction. Es Ventall whole roasts the vegetable until it's soft but still holds its shape and smears a sugary praline and fruit mixture on top. The dish is too dessert-like for me, I wish the praline spread was replaced with something savoury that would go better with the basil cream. Our waiter describes the tomato and grilled prawn salad (26€) as being smaller, which is an understatement as the dish is truly skimpy. To call the crustaceans on the plate as grilled "prawns" is misleading, the thumb sized items are spot prawn sized, which are generally served by the half cup than individually. These Ibiza prawns are equally sweet, but given their petite size, the chef really needs to give more of these on the plate or at least leave them in the shell. At the very least, serve the "prawns" with more than a scant quartered tomato, crème fraiche, and an oil sorbet that while adds a lovely richness, melts into nothingness. For the price, this dish needs more tomatoes, other vegetables, and a helping of grilled crostini to swipe up the sauces. We didn't order the cuttlefish and Ibiza prawns' paella with aioli (24€ per serving; a three serving portion pictured below), but the kitchen mistakenly mixed up our order with another table, so we ended up having it as our main. While the dish had a lovely aroma, the rice was awfully salty reminding me of the soy sauce tasting concoction I had in Barcelona a decade earlier. Perhaps this is the traditional way of preparing paella, but the saltiness is so pungent that it detracts from the seafood and the rice becomes saturated in sauce that there's no crispy bottom. This paella was a bust.

It was the most flavorful and seasoned food that I had in my entire trip to spain. However that's where the positives end. The place was packed! So we were hopeful that it would be a great experience but it is not well managed or organized. Multiple servers were overlapping in different sections and yet it took four attempts to get water, three attempts to get our check and uncounted attempts to get service. We asked one person for water. They wrote it down, said okay and then never came back. This happened four times. In the end, two individuals did end up bringing water to the table. One of them had the nerve to tell us that we should be asking the same server and not asking multiple people. I had to explain to him that the reason why we asked multiple people is because it took so incredibly long for it to come. And, we couldn't find our previous server because he disappeared to another section. They tried multiple times to use my card for payment. It kept saying error and the gentleman stated that it was due to issues with their wi-fi. When I asked him to just make sure that it didn't go through multiple times, he had such a nasty attitude. Two other tables experienced similar situations. One gentleman actually got into an argument with a staff member because he was waiting to pay his check for so long. I'm sure this place makes money. I'm sure the food has people coming back and it seems to be one of the better food options around. Perhaps they were overwhelmed that evening and this was an anomaly but based on my experience they do not know how to run an efficient restaurant when busy.
