Stopped in here during my vacation in Ibiza. Situated on the water in Cala San Vicente, the Boat House is a nice cozy beachside eatery. My friend and I rolled in here around 3pm on a Thursday to a pleasantly crowded scene.
The name does it justice - the restaurant is nautically themed, but not tacky feeling. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, which is shaded while you eat, and plenty of it. The restaurant is pretty large. The menu comes in about 5 different languages, so don't worry if you don't speak Spanish, you've got options. The menu is what you'd expect for a "tourist spot": lots of options for everyone in your party, including sandwiches, salads, traditional Spanish dishes, seafood, and alcohol as well. I ended up getting the Boat House burger (14 euros) which came with the works, an egg, bacon, and fries on the side. Not the best burger in the world, but it was tasty and large. Would get it again.
For being a touristy spot, the Boat House was actually a pretty nice experience. Just keep in mind that there will be families with children. But if that doesn't bother you, this spot is definitely worth checking out. read more
