The work done is acceptable, some of it after being redone (water spouts were done sloppily and the water half flowed and half trickled... he felt this was finished and I asked to have it redone) but I have a bad taste in my mouth every time I look at my pool :/ we called him off when it became clear we needed new pool equipment so we could go with someone else and both bids we've gotten have pointed out the shoddy application of the pebbletech. Maybe it was just an off job, but if you use Champion you need to know exactly what you want before you talk to them- they will not help you to design or even understand- it's a railroad operation to get you to do the easiest thing for them. There was a lot of denying and blaming of others. And you need to know what good work looks like, and I've never had a pool in my life, so I didn't. There were square footage calculations that required additional tile purchases mid-application. Questions were glossed over.
