On Sunday just before the lunch hour I had to do some laundry. I headed to one of the laundromats that serves the Waianae community. I went to Sun's Laundromat at the Waianae Mall. I entered the laundromat for the first time. I wanted to see how many washers were available to use and how many were out of service. Most of the big load washers were taken and they cost up to $13.25 to wash. Small load washers cost $4.25. There were several washers out of order. I used a lot of $1.00 bills at the change machine since the wash machine only takes quarters. There are two change machines for customers who needs quarters. I also noticed the vending machine of detergents and drinks. While I was at the laundromat I ended up doing three loads on the quick wash cycle which was 17 minutes. My other three loads were half an hour since it was normal wash. I didn't get a chance to use any of the dryers since majority of them were already occupied. I think there were a couple dryers out of order as well. I ended up taking my six loads of washed clothes and blankets back home to dry. One good thing about Sun's Laundromat at the Waianae Mall is that there are a lot of parking stalls. There are stalls in front of the establishment as well as stalls next to a hill towards the bus transit center. read more

shitty place there is absolutely no WiFi there whatsoever no vending machines that even come close to working there is no phone number to reach anyone for help or a or anything like that for that matte...better to go to the laundromat up the ro right before Wai'anae McDonald's it's located across from aloha gas statio. read more

WORST PLACE EVER!!! Went one day to wash my clothes $7 into a broken washer, and when I called and left a detailed voicemail for a refund. No answer no call back NOTHING!! Washer/dryer broke down so we ended up here to do our laundry. Haven't washed closed at a laundromat for years and man prices have gone up. $8.75 for industrial double or triple load i forgot the load size, but clothes washed around 25mins. $7.25 to dry for industrial double load. Could have paid less but I went for 30mins since I wasn't sure if the dryers were good or not. They dried pretty good. Place can be very busy, night can be busy too. I don't think first Sunday's are 24hrs any more, worker was pulling off the signs. read more

Good laundromat. There's a seating area, vending machine for drinks and snacks, and tables for folding. Has a change machine that exchanges bills for quarters, which the machines only take. Also has a soap center with detergent, bleach, and fabric softener. I recommend bringing your own, though, as these are expensive. There are also huge washing machines for "Giant" and "Mega" loads, which can take 4 and 6 loads of laundry, respectively. The Giant load machine was $8.50 and the Mega was $12.75. Dryers are $0.25 per 2 minutes. I would recommend this laundromat for people on the westside. It's expensive though, but more reliable than the other options read more

First timer. Person working here is pretty nice. Positive note: Fans everywhere. It's nice and cool in here All though they have a tv for people to sit and watch...Its terribly small. Like the screen is the size of a laptop screen. Ok I lied...my laptop screen is bigger. They have benches to sit. Down falls: Majority EVERYTHING IS BROKEN; 2 of their big washing machines... ($12.75) Only 2 of 3 medium washing machine works ($8.50) 12/15 small washing machine works ($4.25) 6/10 x-small washing machine works ($3.25) 7/8 Big dryer works ($0.25 per 3 min) 4/10 medium dryer works ($0.25 per 3 min) 4/10 Small dryer works ($0.25 per 4 min) Arcade machine. DOWN Vending machine for drinks SOLD OUT & snack vending machine is DOWN. Only 1/2 of the dollar to coin machine working 3 product machine (those that hold the soap etc) NONE is working! They are at least a little more reliable. Wish they would fix their washers and dryer. At least try to. But still a better choice.

Used to be a decent laundromat.. now half of their washers and dryers don't even work. "They're fixing it they say" but been coming weekly for the past two months and it's just getting worse. Don't get me wrong the lady that runs the place is very helpful and quick to help when things go wrong... but don't waste your time going there. You literally have to wait for washers and dryers. And not to mention their snack machine don't got anything.. so if you do go, plan to make an evening out of it (2 hours or so) They also have fans everywhere to keep you cool! So big plus! They offer free WiFi too! Yay for that! Just not enough working machines. read more

Washing machines are ok but the dryers suck!!! For a quarter you will either get 2 minutes, 4 minutes or if you're lucky you'll get 6 minutes. Can't tell which one will give you that 6 or 4 minutes per quarter. Out of 7 machines I got 1-6 minute, 5-4 minute and 1-2 minute dryer. I'd rather drive to Nanakuli in hopes for something better. read more

Nothing fancy; but more machines work than are broken and it smells clean, well up-kept. We've been coming here for years and it's 1 of the only 2 laundromats in Waianae, so, we'll take it. read more

Great laundromat, lots of parking and lots of new washers and dryers that either got fixed or replaced. After many years of using this business and having been through so many hands... By far this owner has been the best. Wish there was more fans or air conditioning because it can get really hot and humid inside. On the plus side - there's free wifi!! Place is clean and in working condition Alot of signs are posted for clarification on what washer or dryer to use. Price is reasonable. But come now, any place you wash outside your home is a arm & a leg. So for me, with my family size this place is perfect and in my budget. read more
