The remodel replaced the floor with vinyl tile, replaced the tub surround tiles with vinyl sheets and replaced the vanity, counter mirror, tub, lights and all fixtures. The finished bathroom looks great with no issues. The fixtures, vanity and surfaces chosen by the Lux design crew look great. The installer did a great job, was very courteous and did the job with minimal disruption.

They also have a great outdoor courtyard area full of all sorts of kitschy/rusting finery - everything from old bicycles to mattress springs to car bumpers just waiting to be repurposed creatively. One thing I like about this antique mall is that it's not just an antique mall - several stalls feature new (yet vintage-like) items and signage. The prices are typical for an antique mall (a litlte high, but hey where are you going to find this stuff anywhere else?) - but not outrageously so. The passageways are a little narrow, so keep your bags (and elbows) tucked in. This is definitely not a place I would dare to bring a small child. Best to plan your visit for an adults-only outing!

We got the permit from the city with plans authored by a different architect but when the project…read morestarted, the difference between actual dimensions on the site and the plans started surfacing and we had to rework on the plans. I reached out to Michael and he was very responsive, he visited the site and quickly shared the updated plans for resubmission to the city. He also closely worked with me and GC to answer further queries from the inspector. Overall, I had great experience with Michael. He is professional, shared his quote upfront and honored it, was very collaborative, responsive and has attention to detail. I am sure he has a bright future ahead and if I start another project I will definitely work with him again.

They have a lovely selection of hand dyed fiber and very knowledgeable staff people who are eager to help you if you have questions. The price range is wide, so you can meet almost any price point in the shop. Keep in mind it's hand dyed, so the prices start higher than a box store, but I think the prices are very fair. In addition to selling fiber, they also sell boxed project sets (great idea!), tools and accessories, and they even run classes! Amazing! Looking forward to joining a class this spring.
