Greg wasn't working that day, but had dropped it off for me anyway. It turns out it was a faulty charging cable. They replaced the cable for me and it works like a charm. This is a pretty good mall for a relatively small sized city. The mall overall is also well taken care off and you will find it to be quiet clean. The mall also hosts the North terminus of the local transit system so it's easily accessible and then fairly convenient to leave for your next destination after your shopping trip.

The mall itself is like any other medium to large mall in Canada with the usual chains. I did not see anything special about this mall. No unique stores or anything that really sets it apart from any other mall. The Winners was really picked over and was wasn't that great. The food court was just chains with no independently owned vendors. My husband and I walked around, but nothing caught our eyes, so we didn't buy anything. It's an ok place to poke around, but not a destination mall, at least not in my opinion.

The mall has a few entrances, you can enter from the main entrance where the Osmows and east side Mario is. My favourite less crowded entrance is the back where the new bowling alley is, the entrance has enough parking you can turn in from Conestoga Blvd and you're there -plus the Zehrs is there the Starbucks inside (yay). There is some good outlet shopping here, theres a Marshall's and theres some others. I swear I bought the cutest cocktail champagne dress that was retail $200 for $20, so there are deals here. Now that the pandemic restrictions have been lifted there are return options where stores were pretty much forcing final sale. So if you're in the area or just need an indoor walking gym, this is the place. It feels empty but I feel my shopping is efficient, no lines up :)

I'm told that there is a huge line that forms before the store opens in the morning. We came in the afternoon and walked right in. The place was pretty crowded but you could still get around quite easy. In the two food isles I saw dented cans of soups, broken or bashed boxes of other dry food items. There was a good assortment of Christmas chocolates and candy. You should know your prices before you buy anything. The clothes aisle was complete chaos with most of the clothing thrown in huge piles caused by people rummaging through trying to find sizes. Here you could get jeans for $10. A kids snowsuit for under $30. The day we came all the winter clothing was 40% off. This place is hit and miss. People mess it up. I'm sure when they open the doors in the morning the place is nicely organized. Then there is a wild rush to get the best deal and it all goes to hell. We had a fun time and enjoyed all the good deals we found.

I got many 1L boxes of almond beverage both times. The beverage is unsweetened and goes for $1.50 each, which is dirt cheap! Today, I got two pairs of jeans. They go for $10 a pair. There was a 25% discount on clothes today, so it was ridiculous to get a decent pair for $7.50 each. I also got a rain jacket going for $25 before the discount. This recommendation came from my boyfriend, who loves this store. I do, too. It does get crowded. There are two lines for payment. The one on the left is for credit cards and debit. I put the donut on and immediately began calling tire places around the area to do a tire repair. Everyone was busy all week (2 Wal-Marts, a CAA, and an independent tire place). This location of Canadian Tire was the only place who said they were booked all day and for the rest of the week, but then offered to have me drop it off and they would try to find time to squeeze me in today or tomorrow. So I dropped it off and the guy at the counter (Jim) made a note saying to try to have it done by 4:30 that day! Then I called in around 4:55 since I hadn't heard from them, and another gentleman (Gary) said that they had repaired it and that they had thought I was coming in and 4:30. I explained that Jim had said they would call me because he didn't know if they would get to it today for sure. Gary apologized and even though they were closing in 5 minutes, told me to come down and they would take care of me! So nice! Great service! They only charged me for the new valve (it had a fault valve)! These guys were amazing!!! P.S. I have no idea what this Vincent guy has an issue with, personally. This location is the closest to my house at only a 5 minute drive away... It would be far if you lived far away, but that's true for anything... There's a PetSmart, Winners, Beer Store, Shoppers, and other shops all around it, and the Boardwalk is only a block away. Not sure what more people could want, really...
