I can't show a photo as we had water damage in 2024 and of course I couldn't call on him to re build it. So I found another contractor named Michael Florence who started out well, didn't finish, evidently I was too generous with the insurance money and he took it and that was it. I have now contracted a more honest person to do the job. RIP Mike Fairbanks. We all miss you and your friendship. No photos to show as the bathroom has never been finished by the 2nd contractor after the flood.

Billy and his crew were great to work with and very professional. Billy is very affordable and upfront with his pricing and threw in quite a few extra small services at no charge. The project grew in scope for the better, but Billy was always upfront and stayed true to his word, even long after he received final payment. He really treated and cared about the quality and outcome of the project as if it was his own. I'm glad I choose CAI Concrete and I am getting ready to use them again on another project.

I spoke with Billy a couple months later in March and he informed me that he would get me on the schedule to come back and address these issues. Since that time, I've left 7 voicemails (7/7, 8/25, 9/16, 9/29, 10/9, 10/21, 11/11), texted once (7/7), and emailed (12/2) with photos of the issues, but I have received no responses since speaking with Billy. The pad is not slopped properly and is draining back into the house and pooling in front of the door. During the installation I asked if the pad needed the relief cuts, but Billy felt the grounds the pad was being placed upon was solid and committed to returning if there was cracking, which there now is. They also failed to cut a piece of hanging trim from the siding which left us with a square hole in the steps. As you can see from others, this company just does not respond. The voicemail says they will respond in 24 hrs, but that is only until they get your money. Further insulting is that they tell you to have a blessed day, thats like someone robbing your home and saying God bless on their way out the door.

We passed all inspections and zoning requirements first time with the county/city in which we live. Materials were ordered correctly, and the only hiccup was TW Perry delivering wrong stuff. Ricardo showed us the order slip, and what was delivered was incorrect...not Deck Builders fault at all! Ricardo advised us to go with a Trex decking and wood railings, giving us the 25+ year warranty on the floor, but saving some money on materials with the railings. Initially there was a bit of an issue with my condo property management that complicated and delayed work, but once we got the OK from management, the owner sent over some signed paperwork... but we still needed his contractor's license. I finally got a hold of him by calling via my work number (which he didn't recognize), and when I asked him if he received my messages re the license, he sounded like I caught him off guard and said that he was planning on getting back to me, but he "couldn't find a copy of his license" and that he may have to go "all the way to Richmond" to get another one... he also said he's been swamped with snow removal jobs with his other business... A) I'm not sure how he's able to continue to do residential and commercial projects without a paper or digital copy of his license readily availableand B) it only snowed for like a day when I had last contacted him and he had plenty of time to follow up. This makes me feel like he just didn't want to do the job anymore, which is fine. Maybe it's because he didn't want to deal with any potential liability issues with my condo, but I at least expected l some professional courtesy with him just telling me right away he can't/won't do the job. Ghosting me was highly unprofessional, and it's a shame because our initial consultation went great and he gave us such a great deal on the estimate. If this is all a misunderstanding, I'll revise my review, but for now, I'm pretty disappointed.

The initial 'immense problem' of the circuitboard, was due to a superficial defective wire (no power surge issues or lack of power involved whatsoever).
