The most efficient way in our vast experience, is not to load the truck until all items are checked off and sitting on the driveway, which was the way Mayflower did things decades ago. Apparently this crew was trained to take items straight into the truck and fit them in as best they could, so they had to partially unload and reload the truck because their packing space was quite limited compared to what their boss allotted for. Poor communication and planning, inefficiency all caused by the owner PLUS lack of coordination topped off by shouting rudeness and maltreatment in the end by the owner... it all adds up to a "never-again" pledge for this senior citizen. I paid 30% higher than I expected from the original quote and they left me frazzled.

Best tips for using U-Pack: -Ask for ABF truck to increase allowable height. -Delivery on a Friday for a Monday pickup for the best time/value. -Terminal to terminal moves are cheaper. -Always contact regional service delivery center in advance for local requirements. -Maintain communication with primary U-Pack agents to update move for accurate charges and/or discounts. We loaded it over 3 days, drove 4 days to our new state and called for the trailer to be delivered. We got 3 days to unpack which was great as we didn't have to rush to unpack in a day.
