We knew, at that time, that our Heating and Cooling system was 17 years old and would need to be replaced even though the home inspector and the company maintaining it assured us that it was good for years. We started having trouble with it and looked for a Trane Dealer in this area. Because of Tom's and Trane's reputations, we chose American Heating and Cooling. Tom was extremely helpful in guiding us to a heat pump, air handler and smart thermostat, as well as, a filtration system with UV light that would fit our home and be extremely efficient but, at the same time, was not overkill and overpriced. Between the time we ordered the system and its delivery from the factory in the United States, we started having more trouble with our old system. Tom came out the day we called him, fixed the system and kept us cool in the extreme heat we were having at the time. Tom and his crew did an excellent job installing the new system. They were timely, efficient and very considerate of us and our home. During the install they had to tie into our old duct work. In the process Tom discovered some things that were done incorrectly in the original build of the house which he fixed. Tom and American Heating and cooling are highly recommended. Scott's sent Caden out to look at the system. He determined that my thermostat failed and a simple replacement would probably do the trick. He was right! Had a new Heat and Cooling system installed. The thermostat was installed incorrectly which caused…read morethe heat to not shut off. While out of town the thermostat was set at 69 but was over 100 degrees in the house for multiple days. When we returned we contacted the business and they fixed the thermostat but the Vinyl flooring was damaged. Owner agreed to have it fixed, after 6 months of promises that someone would be out or that it was turned over to his insurance, still no resolve. He would not give me his insurance and claim number. Promises made over and over again but excuse after excuse. Take your business elsewhere.

Alec was very knowledgeable about our unit and we appreciate his patience. Highly recommend using Tom's and ask for Alec for great customer service.
