    We moved into our new home and found that most of our finished basement was unusable. Our HVAC…read moresystem was installed about 8" from the wall with a cold air return opening into the main area. The main area consists of a full bar / kitchen, a listening area for music and 2 bedrooms and a bath. The problem is when the fan, heat or air was on the cold air return sounded like a "Shop Vac" making it impossible to listen to music or even have normal conversation. When we'd have family in they could hear it running in their bedrooms behind closed doors and found it hard to sleep. For almost a year whenever we used the downstairs living area we totally shut off the HVAC but unfortunately the rest of the house suffered durning the winter or summer months. Long story short we called several highly rated companies that had lots of feedback but they only remove or install. The guys a Royal said, "No problem". They came out and gave us reasonable bid, scheduled us the following week and spent 3-4 hours in the basement. They closed off the obnoxious cold air return and diverted it into one of the bedrooms and billiard area. Now the "Shop Vac" is dead quiet in ever area. Unbelievable difference...Truly. We are still baffled by the difference months later. We now entertain quit frequently and would highly recommend Royal Heating and Air. These guys are professional, on time, reasonable and best of all.. clean !! Thanks guys for giving our home back to us. Martin & Michelle

    This is unusual. I HAVE to write this review because in this day and age when you actually…read moreexperience something that defies expectations, it has to be shared. My furnace went out in mid-December and Beanland Heating and Cooling came for the service call. I was dreading the outcome, and of course, the problem was NOT a simple little thing, it was the heat exchanger on my Carrier unit. It had to be replaced and they can constitute half of the cost of a new furnace! I am a disabled vet and senior citizen and the thought, the worry, the fear of what it was going to cost literally kept me up at night. The service man who came tried to calm those fears, but as anyone who has faced a large, unexpected bill can attest, words help little. He promised to check into finding the most affordable replacement he could and with that, he left. Now, I am a cynical old grouchy kinda guy, so naturally, I expected the worst. Fast forward to a few weeks later and I get a call from their office. They informed me they had the replacement heat exchanger in hand and wanted to come that afternoon. I was excited to have the normal heat working but I was dreading what was to come. He arrived that afternoon and THIS is what they did; He did some research and found that Carrier offered a parts replacement due to a design flaw. THE HEAT EXCHANGER COST ME NOTHING! OMG... I could not believe it! I was so stunned, especially knowing how much that cost! Then I asked for just a rough estimate on the labor, (and honestly, at that point I didn't care, I was just relieved that the looming 4000 plus part was provided) But then, he did something that went so far beyond the norm. Turns out Carrier included a 300.00 credit towards labor!!!! WOW WOW WOW... 300 dollars may not be a lot to some, but to me, it was. BUT wait... The cynical side of me just had to ask... so what will that leave as the balance? He finished cleaning up, and with a smile, simply said, I think that's good. TOTAL OWED; ZERO. I got choked up. Not over the labor, over the whole thing. They didn't even have to tell me anything about the warranty, I would have never known. They didn't have to tell me about the 300.00 labor credit, I would have never known. They didnt have to tell me, that everything was covered, I would have never known. THINK about that... They are not kin folk, I am not anyone with any clout. I can be downright unlikeable some days. THEY CHOSE WHAT WAS RIGHT AND HONORABLE..... and they did so without fanfare. It's just the way they are. Tell me, wouldn't that choke you up? To be at the mercy of a complete stranger, and to have them exhibit such quality of character; that should choke you up. It's what was once the norm, but it's become the exception to the rule. IF you find yourself in need of help, please call these folks. They deserve the chance to help and I cannot thank them enough for the way they conducted their business. HONORABLE!
