Whenever I go hiking, this gas station is usually the meetup point for my group. There's quite a few stations, all full service.. I forgot the exact number.. but I would estimate like at least 9 stations? Sounds about right..lol Gas is cheaper than NY, but compared to other parts of NJ, slightly more expensive here. Very convenient location right off the GW Bridge. There's a nice little shop here too, with coffee, desserts, pastries, fridges with soda, water, bottle drinks, an Icee machine, and separate bathrooms for both male & female. **Towards the rear of the shop, is a wooded area. Inside, there's actually a small trail. You could follow the trail, to a section where it's fenced off, but has nice panoramic views of the Hudson River. My go-to gas station when I head home from work. I used to hit up the Lukoil on Lemoine Ave, but frankly the gas here isn't that much more expensive than what I find off the parkway (and it's a much bigger hassle for me to go local just to get gas than simply filling up on my way to the GWB on the palisades). The service here for the most part is good. Sometimes the folks can be slow but at least they have a lot of attendants during peak hours. However, it can get annoying when there's only one guy handling four pumps and taking his sweet time. At least on most occasions they will clean your window and usually get you in/out fairly quickly. This place does get props for being one of the few gas stations that actually had gas when we had that huge shortage awhile back. I wouldn't say this is the cheapest place to fill up in the area but at least it's convenient for folks who are on the Palisades on their way to the city. read more

Very convenient gas station on Palisades Parkway. This station is right before the George Washington bridge. So even if you are at a half tank or almost full time, get the most of it! As this is the cheapest gas around before you leave New Jersey and heading into NYC. Fill up is always quick and they have to be 12 pumps being used. As the law in New Jersey, you are not allowed to self-serve your own gas. They hire people for that and tips are not necessary. read more

In and out as fast as nearly any gas station around, probably even faster than the companion station across the Palisades (northbound). Sometimes I get my windshield washed, which is such a treat. When it gets crowded, I'll sometimes skip it so I can make it to the GWB before the E-ZPass toll rises at 3pm. Good stuff. read more

Just an ordinary gas station, with non-free air (which isn't right), but I'm giving 'em a great big shout-out because of a good deed their attendant did for me a few weeks ago. I pulled up there and he noticed that I was leaking transmission fluid! I hadn't noticed. Seems a line had busted. He didn't speak English but communicated with me in sign language. Fortunately transmission fluid was on sale in the store and the price was not unreasonable (though I'd have paid any price obviously). I'd give five stars but I find that usually the service attendants tend to be on the slow and surly side. read more

A really busy gas station. Prices: is good. Store: nice shop, clean bathroom. Be prepared you have to wait sometime for someone to pump the gas for you, the workers are busy cleaning windows. If you say anything they give you nasty attitude. read more

Beats NY prices for gas but more expensive then other NJ gas stations - better off hitting route 4! Beware - in the early am hours, there is one attendant who talks to himself, he is harmless!!! Might be an act to do less work.... read more
