He resolved the issue and offered to help with any other problems. I ran down a quick list of repairs that I would need for my car and was told to bring my car in and he would help me. About two weeks later, my engine was losing anti freeze. I brought my car to them and was told that it would be looked at the next morning and I would be given a ballpark price on what I wanted repaired. Within a short time I was told a price for all of the work I wanted done. My car's repairs were completed that day and it runs beautiful! After dropping my car off the night before, I had gone to eat at a local restaurant where I was urged to get my car out of there because of bad past reviews. The two men who run this gas station are very pleasant, friendly and I felt comfortable that I had made a right choice, I did not listen to bad rumors because I felt they were not trying to be a scammer at all. When I picked my car up the next morning, I explained how the locals were bad talking the mechanical service here and that I didn't care because I just didn't feel a wrong decision was going to be a result. I was using my own judgement. He explained to me that the prior owners had built up a negative reputation and it was clear that this is what people only see. These are not the scammers that the locals are remembering. These are great mechanics, friendly, honest, absolutely fair with their rates and as long as I live in this location, I have a great auto service station. The cashier said something about the system "not registering yet" but that doesn't make sense, because the transaction showed up in the app immediately. It also showed multiple transactions from March 2025 in a city I didn't visit that year, so I know with absolute certainty I didn't make these purchases. I wouldn't trust this thing with my credit card. Back to the coffee. They have now changed the promotion so that you have to spend an additional $3.49 on other items to get the 99-cent coffee price. I signed up for a specific offer that they didn't honor, only for them to make the deal worse. Looks like I won't be going back to Cumbies for a while.

I did some damage to my car (fender bender, needed hood replaces and some misc parts from the front end) and needed to get it fixed as soon as possible. Read the reviews and decided to take a chance with a place that was nearby. Dwayne was really nice to deal with--friendly and non-judgmental about my accident--and talked me through what needed to happen to get my car fixed. He did a thorough job with the repair, swapped out some parts with acceptably used versions to save me some money, and got the whole thing done even more quickly than his estimate. His shop doesn't look from the street like it would be a pro outfit (the barky dog is actually a sweetheart) but the job he did on my car was amazing. You can't see the damage and he even waxed my car before he returned it to me. He's a second-generation mechanic and has been working here since he was a kid. He has an intuitive feel for body work and a really easy manner. I was not in a good mood after my crash and having a good experience getting the whole thing fixed really just made my whole month.
