After about 2 hours around 7am the general manager Nate woke me up by repeatedly violently striking and banging on my vehicle and rocking my vehicle back and forth during a rain storm. He kept beating and rocking my vehicle for several minutes, continuing even after I had woken up and started my vehicle! After I told him to stop touching my vehicle he threatened to call the police and baselessly accused me of threatening him. Prior to this, I had always considered Love's travel stops to be a safe place to rest for short periods while on the road. I am appalled by Nate's behavior he very easily could have damaged my vehicle the way he was acting. Is this their policy now? Is this how they instruct their general managers to treat people and vehicles that park for short periods? Absolutely terrible.

In high school, we'd often stop there in the mornings to stock up on Jolt cola and other necessities. I have very fond memories of this litle store. I stopped in to pick up some booze on my way to my parent's house for a visit. I hadn't been in there in years and I was greeted by a bright, clean, modern-looking space. A major upgrade from the dingy decor of yesteryear. However, and maybe it's just because there's more space now, the store looked practically empty to me. There was only one or two of everything on the shelves which just made it look depressing. And, any store that calls itself a package store should have a decent booze selection, which sadly, this place did not. I wanted red zinfandel for me and blue curacao to make my mom "that magic blue drink you made me this summer" as she called it and neither were to be found. Sooooooo, 2 stars for the less than adequate selection of booze and an extra star for the upgrades to the store.

I've had one particular employee who works the register for the convenient counter. I come to Brimfield three times a year for a week. This is the second encounter with said employee. I 100% abide by and understand that an ID is required for alcohol purchase. HOWEVER, to be completely rude, curt, eye rolling, and snide is uncalled for. A simple, "if you bring your ID back you may purchase this," would be suffice. Don't try to look for a reason not to sell me a product, i.e expiration date, etc. This was not great customer service. If you don't like your job, quit.
