We stopped here on the way home from the beach. The people are very nice. You must try the catfish. Yum.

Sign says 2.19 nothing about cash price. Get to pump then you find out about cash price and does NOT work if you pay debit

What a quaint little convenience store and more! They have just what you need....not to mention…read morepropane, heating oil and a wrecker service. Very friendly service!

Sunday at 3:30 in the morning. 3 1/2 hours away from home, on our way back from the beach we hit a…read moredog that was in the middle of I95 N in Virginia just after mile marker 16. Thought radiator was smashed. 6 kids, lots of gear. School starting on Monday. Dogs at home, I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to make things work. Wayne (owner of the tow company) shows up to tow our car. He had already called a cab for us without me asking before he got there. Cab shows up about 10 minutes after Wayne did. I ask Wayne if his service station is open on Sunday to fix radiator and he said no, but he will do what ever he could to get us back on the road. We get to hotel around 6, try to sleep things off. Wayne calls at 11. Tells me radiator wasn't busted after all. All the fluid that leaked everywhere was from punctured A/C system and car was driveable. He tried calling around looking for parts so we didn't have to drive home with broken A/C. No luck, but he drove the car back out to our hotel so we didn't have to take a cab back to him, then we drove him back to his shop... super nice guy. Real friendly. Everyone we encountered in our unfortunately experience was extremely helpful, especially Wayne. Seems like if you're going to break down, it's best to break down in Emporia, VA.
