Tons of souvenirs and junk, plus snacks, but we were on a mission to get to South of the Border and all the junk there. There were several women in the bathroom, but they were incredibly sweet about me having brought a male careperson in. No one objected and you can't imagine what a relief that is to me every time that happens. The accessible stall was a tight squeeze but I was able to fit my entire wheelchair inside and shut the door. Love's is a truckstop and I was fascinated when they paged people to let them know that their showers were ready. Intrigued, I looked it up and it seems that the showers ARE accessible. Now I really want to see one. I have been on roadtrips before where I couldn't access a shower. That really put a damper on my mental health after a couple days. It's nice to know that I don't have to suffer, if there's a Love's around.

Upon entering the store to use the bathrooms, I found them to be decent, but no tissues to dry my hands. I managed though. :) I also picked up some snacks, big VA peanuts. Those was awesome and just the right amount of salt. It seemed like the spot was a gathering place of sorts as there was plenty of traffic in the parking lot. Of note was a classic tan Monte Carlo. I wanted to take a picture of it, but the driver was behind the wheel. The clerk was friendly enough, but could have been more inviting. If I am ever in the area, I'll consider stopping by again .... to see if I can get another look at the Monte Carlo.

No trash on the ground. It was easy to use the pump & it actually printed a receipt. A lot of these stations force you to pick the receipt up from the cashier, which is a huge inconvenience in the rain (it's raining today). The gas prices was average to the area. No shocker there. I was in and out of there in minutes. I definitely recommend this location. There's even a Huddle House if you want to get a bite to eat.

There are restrooms in both locations. The Davis Express has a lot of snack and food options inside including an ice cream cooler. There are gifts as well. The gas is reasonably priced.
