This Sunoco sucks. It is barely ever open, whoever owns it doesn't give a care in the world about their gas station or its customers. They've been out of gas for a week now OUT OF GAS, it's a gas station!!! today, last Friday, Thursday, and at least 4 other occasions that we've stopped no one showed up to run the store so it was closed. It sucks because this gas station is literally right down the road from us and we stopped here early in the am on our way to work for gas, drinks and coffee from dunkin donuts and now we don't even bother because it is a waste of time. The dunkin donuts is good however and has nothing to do with the convenience and gas part of it. I don't even think they want to be apart of this Sunoco. Take some pride in your business or sell it! read more

While my friend was inside getting a lotto ticket, I noticed there was a car wash at this station. Today I returned to get gas and a car watch. Having never used a drive through car wash, I read the instructions and preceded into the contraption. I was not prepared for this thing to move my car and, startled, I accidentally removed my foot from the car's brake. The car was now covered in soap and the machine totally shut down. I parked, went in, and explained to the attendant that I had never used a drive through car wash and I thought I had done something wrong, but the kiosk did now say the car wash was out of service. He said I drove through and wasn't supposed to, so I offered to pay again in order to get the soap off my car. He was visually agitated and said he had to go see if he could fix the machine. About 5 minutes later, while standing outside waiting, he continued to berate me for improper use of the car wash and I reminded him that it was my first time using this type of car wash and I had started off by saying I had likely done something wrong. After once again offering to pay for another wash, he became verbally aggressive; loudly enough that everyone began looking in our direction. I then asked if he was willing to lose a new customer and he told me he was and I could go down the street to the more expensive car wash, which I did. Because my car was covered in soap and I was not allowed to use Mobil's car was again to get the soap off, upon turning into the lot of the other car wash, my car skid sideways and almost hit 2 other cars. When I got home, I spoke to my friend who was with me last week at this Mobil station and she asked, "don't you remember I had told you the guy at the counter who sold me the lotto ticket was so rude and acting as if I was inconveniencing him or requesting something bizarre when I got my lotto ticket". I had forgotten that and after describing the short, bald, possibly Hispanic man, she said, "yep, that's him". Needless to say, I will not be returning to this station, even though it is convenient to my house because I don't need to be humiliated by some miserable man who doesn't know how to treat others.

I check the receipt in the car and be typed in (not scanned) x2 non taxable $5 charges. I went back in and asked him why he did this and he said "oh, I thought you grabbed Red Bull too buddy" He knew I did not. Lied and tried to steal, make sure you're checking your receipts after leaving if you do choose to stop by.

This Flying J has 12 automobile fueling stations and a separate area for highway truckers. The fuel offered for automobiles are octanes 87, 89, and 92. Plus diesel is offered. They have extended handle windshield squeegees which makes cleaning windshields a lot easier if you have a large car or truck. Inside they have just about every imaginable car and truck accessories needed - from oils, antifreeze, to CB radios. They have coffee stations where you can grind your own or choose from hot bins of House premium coffees. For those wanting more than just a snack, this Flying J had a Subway inside and a Denny's attached to the side. Prices seem reasonable and competitive with similar places. A lot of professional truckers stop here. The restrooms are clean and there's dedicated shower rooms for them, along with a tv lounge and game room. The employees are polite and friendly. This is a good place to stop.

The store reeks of cigarettes all the time because they leave the door open while they're smoking well at least the other one does but the lady in the morning she'll make you wait until she's done smoking . I have tried so hard to support this business because it's been in the neighborhood for a long time but ever since that other girl left that store has went downhill . They never can keep employees and they're always gossiping about other people to customers. I just don't want to give that place my money anymore. However, I could see through the small gap between the open hood and the top of my dashboard that they were putting a plastic hose down my dipstick tube. I said, "Wait, what are you doing? Are you sucking the oil out through the dipstick tube?" He said "Yes." I said, "No, I want you to remove the drain plug and do it properly". He replied, "We can't do that. It's our policy". I said, "Well, don't do it then and I'll just change it myself". He pulled the hose out of the dipstick tube, shut my hood, and said I was free to go. I left and started driving north on US-1 toward Fort Pierce. As I was driving, the low oil pressure light started to come on and off intermittently. I immediately knew the car was dangerously low on oil. I immediately pulled into Express Car Care near Edwards Rd by the railroad tracks and told him my story. When he drained my oil, he said only a HALF-QUART of oil came out! Valvoline Instant Oil Change SUCKED THE OIL OUT OF MY CAR AND LET ME DRIVE OFF. I went back to Valvoline Instant Oil Change when my oil change was completed at Express Car Care and asked them why they sucked the oil out of my car and let me leave. Of course they denied it. The technician eventually admitted that the machine was only on "for a minute". Apparently that's all it takes to remove the oil from a small engine that only holds 3.5 quarts. I called corporate headquarters and spoke with the area manager, who staunchly denied any wrongdoing and would not accept any responsibility. They denied removing any oil from the vehicle whatsoever. I maintain my vehicles diligently and know precisely how much oil I had before I arrived. I just checked it THAT MORNING. The facts are: (1) Oil level and oil pressure was FINE BEFORE ARRIVAL, regardless of what management claims to save face.. (2) They inserted a vacuum oil removal machine into the dipstick tube (3) I had low oil pressure warning upon departure. (4) Other mechanic found engine only had a half quart of oil and documented it. This is blatant incompetence and I want acknowledgement from them that if my vehicle develops any significant internal engine problems, that they are responsible but they refused. My vehicle only has 28,001 miles on it. I would recommend to never come here under any circumstances.
