My phone's automatic notification for card purchases informed me of this. I guessed they'd "held" the $100 in the course of my purchase. I phoned the gas station & spoke with a rep today at 5:15pm who bumbled her way through a vague declaration of charge policy where she incorrectly blamed the credit card company for conducting the hold & not Meijers. She then says she didn't know multiple times... "I don't know I don't know...." but she thinks the hold lasts 24-48 hours but she wasn't sure. Hmmm... I found her uncertainty & nonchalant attitude unnerving & annoying. And the Meijer policy of holding money on my card in 4x the amount of the actual charge from my card unacceptable. MEIJERS: you can certainly do better!

The clerk told me that cash is the same price as credit and easy pay is their pre-paid, loadable card. I told the clerk I understand what a credit price is and that credit is more than easy pay, but why am I being charged .20 per gallon higher than the sign advertised? The clerk was unable to give me an answer, unclear as to what I meant. I'm contacting the State of Michigan to report this Circle K, will post all over my social media and will let everyone I know about my experience. False advertising and will NEVER GO BACK!

When I pulled in the lot was compacted, but I was the only one refueling. Inside I witnessed a wonderful assortment of craft beers, cigars, and liquor--not expected. I use their facilities and was shocked how clean and classy it was--uncommon. Marble walls lined with marble listellos, plants, and framed mirror. I never thought I would talk so much about a bathroom. I will stop here every time I need fuel on my shopping path a few times a week.

Their pumps declined my cards repeatedly (two different pumps). Another customer told me he got the same message so he went inside and the employee told him (customer) that he was doing something wrong. Forget this- I'll go to a gas station that works the way it's supposed to. As I'm waiting to pull out, the cashier runs after me and asks if I filled up. Nope, your machine declined my card. Then as I'm waiting at the light, same guy runs full speed to tell me I got $30 worth of gas and I need to come inside. Again tell him I didn't pump anything because their set-up is garbage. Whatever, I'll oblige. As I pull up to the building, I repeat that I didn't pump any gas. Look at my gas gauge (almost on E)- clearly there's not $30 worth of gas in there. "I believe you but come inside." No, you obviously don't believe me. When I get inside, there's four people in line dealing with these shenanigans. He then tells me I'm fine. Yeah, no shit. I told him I wouldn't be back and the dumbass thought I meant today. As I walked out, I heard another customer tell him that I meant I'd never be back. I was livid when I left.
