It's a pretty well-kept little place considering that it's in a run-down part of town that doesn't get much love or traffic other than the working classes. If gas n drinks were just a little bit cheaper I would give them a 5-star rating.

Since I put my debit card in the card reader but didn't pump gas, there was a $100 hold on my debit account. It was 7 days that I couldn't spend the $100 of MY money. Also, the pot holes in the parking lot are about 12" deep. So watch where you're driving in the parking lot.

It's a decent gas station, a little older. It's right near Teton, so you can refuel the car after you refuel the tummy with some Thai Basil Chicken Fried Rice, Tofu Avocado Salad and Mochi ice cream. Servers here are fine but I usually use credit card here so I have only been inside once, I think. I know that Sunny owns this mart, but I sometimes wonder whatever became of Cher. Do you believe in life after pumping?

But they always cost 1.50 normally." Cashier: "alright how about 2.00?" "I thought it was 3?" Cashier: "Just gimme 2 and its yours." Why aren't the prices set? I think they expect you to barter for household items. It was very strange.

I will say that this store has come a long way. The last few months I've seen great improvements…read more The aisles are cleaner with less clutter and I can navigate without tripping over boxes. Until the recent panic shopping this was the place I would get a lot of my basics from. The one thing that I find frustrating is that this store doesn't sell anything for black hair. I once saw a bottle of activator spray marked down to clearance!!! Like, an old ass 1980's jerry curl spray. And they had the nerve to mark it down to $5. That's expensive as hell for a blast from the past. Who the hell still needs jerry curl spray anyway? It's 2020. Nobody is just sitting around trying to let their soul glow. But, I digress. The other day I went in and the cashier asked if I was a nurse and he made sure to give me my little discount. He told me he recognized me and knew I was a nurse. After having worked my 12th shift in a row (all because of covid19), I was exhausted, overwhelmed and sad. That quick moment of kindness and acknowledgement meant the world to me. That particular cashier is always pleasant and nice to me but that just made my day. It's a great store and I'll continue to be a loyal customer.

Judy is one of my highlights of the day. Store Manager Ashely (my fam calls her boss lady) is always working and taking care of this and that. The store is SUPER BUSY AND COULD USE A EXTRA PERSON HERE OR THERE.... lines build up quick. There is always another employee there to help. Store needs to have 3 cashiers and 2 people to help on floor, but For the most part I truly feel valued at this Dollar General. I most point out: Why is corporate okay with that poor women working everyday all day. I swear Ashely was there when my daughter and I were taking my grandkids to school and there still at 9:43pm (same day) (time on my receipt). I would give 10 stars if I could.

Most recently about a month ago. If I've been eating at Alton's, or been at the Galleria, this is my go-to gas station if needed because it's usually cheaper than the others, for some reason. The employees are nice, and it's open all the time. Now this is more like it. Nice cheap gas just near the Galleria. Awesome. It's clean, there's plenty of space, it's the kind of place you dream about when you dream of gas stations. OK I am exaggerating a little but hey.
