I was greeted warmly at the door by an associate straightening up some nearby shelves. The store was clean and organized in general. And the cashier at checkout was equally as warm and friendly as the door greeter. Customer service at this location is inconsistent, but this stellar kindness and care for the state of the store was worth my time to uptick my Yelp stars here! We frequent this 7-Eleven, well, frequently! We frequent it both in person, and via the 7NOW app for delivery. Both the 7-Eleven and 7NOW apps are personal app favorites of mine because the rewards points and deals are generous. 7NOW regularly runs a free delivery promo, paired with lots of product freebies and discounts. In-store savings and rewards points offers are just as bountiful, too. This 7-Eleven does a consistently good job with the hot-foods, too. The app regularly runs $5 pizza deals. For a convenience store no-frills heated-from-frozen pizza, it's actually decent! It is a short wait at the store for a hot pie, or have them delivered, and they still arrive hot and tasty. My husband is a fan of the taquitos, especially the steak & cheese and the cream cheese jalapeno flavors. At 180 calories per taquito, a couple of these greasy treats don't totally break the calories-bank either. Not healthy by any means, but also not blow-it-out-of-the-water gut-busters either for a decadent snack. I am not great at drinking as much water as one should, but I must say the 7-Eleven brand premium waters are quite tasty! As tasty as water can be, I guess, hahaha. But the 7-Eleven Pure and Alkaline water varieties go down smooth! Very refreshing! The app often puts up 3/$3 deals on the big 1-Liter bottles, too. For me to rave about water of all things, it must actually be pretty good! I'm creeping up on five stars for this 7-Eleven location. I'm a fan of several 7-Eleven products (the 79-cent Big Gulp Diet Coke is another fave!), love both of their apps, and have been impressed with the customer service at this location lately, which was previously hit-or-miss. They have the best deals and the coupons I get every week using my CVS card are amazing. They give you Extra bucks for buying certain things and it's very generous. If you download the online coupons to your CVS card and buy products that earn extra bucks the deals become amazing. Some of the clothing they sell are so comfortable, soft and fit nice. Vitamins are usually buy one get one....another good deal. They change what items are on the shelves with the seasons so there's new stuff to look at all the time. Plus the music they play makes you want to sing and dance in the aisles....which I've been known to do. I know this is a drugstore but I like spending time there.

Judy is one of my highlights of the day. Store Manager Ashely (my fam calls her boss lady) is always working and taking care of this and that. The store is SUPER BUSY AND COULD USE A EXTRA PERSON HERE OR THERE.... lines build up quick. There is always another employee there to help. Store needs to have 3 cashiers and 2 people to help on floor, but For the most part I truly feel valued at this Dollar General. I most point out: Why is corporate okay with that poor women working everyday all day. Until the recent panic shopping this was the place I would get a lot of my basics from. The one thing that I find frustrating is that this store doesn't sell anything for black hair. I once saw a bottle of activator spray marked down to clearance!!! Like, an old ass 1980's jerry curl spray. And they had the nerve to mark it down to $5. That's expensive as hell for a blast from the past. Who the hell still needs jerry curl spray anyway? It's 2020. Nobody is just sitting around trying to let their soul glow. But, I digress. The other day I went in and the cashier asked if I was a nurse and he made sure to give me my little discount. He told me he recognized me and knew I was a nurse. After having worked my 12th shift in a row (all because of covid19), I was exhausted, overwhelmed and sad. That quick moment of kindness and acknowledgement meant the world to me.
