I was a Regular customer. Since middle of the Pandemic when the store first opened until Today!…read moreFebruary 5, 2024 LONG STORY SHORT FOR THOSE INTERESTED! Everyday i would go add Gas, Wash my car , Buy food or buy a cup of Coffee sometimes to go or use the bathroom since i have a Disability in my mouth that i need to take care off; like brushing my teeth and clean my Braces as requested by my Dentist. However, this New Manager ( whose name i don't know but i will describe how he looks like.) since i have only seem him like 5 time maximum in the past months. He is short, with short hair and short beard , light skin, and looks like from another country. Maybe Arab etc..i don't know. Which i totally don't care since i always respect people no matter where they are from! But i am detailing you this since i know the owner of this place will read this review and for those people who want to go to this store are aware of him! Today, February 5th 2024 approximately 6:45pm The New manager targeted me and discriminated me based on my color, because i look Black,( but i am Hispanic). He was thinking i was not a regular customer and assumed i was trying to do something at the store maybe stealing since he didn't know me or he acted like he don't know me or seem me before; but the employees did. How do i know? Because he told me based on his behavior and the words he said to me in front of people. The manager Went on a power trip on me.!! I went to buy Cleaning Wipes for my Jeep and used the bathroom. So i can continue with my daily routine which is work for Uber!. I guess he acted like i didn't paid for it, and saw me getting inside the Bathroom and harassed me and not even more than 10 minutes of me being in the bathroom, he knocked hard on the door and yelled at me to come out and inclusive he opened the door with the keys invading my privacy; Which is totally ilegal! Without caring if i was doing number 2 I had the Armored cleaning wipes on my hand and along my Receipt which i showed to him. He yelled at me saying the bathroom is only for customers only. I replied to him" Sir i am a regular customer look at my receipt and i was in the bathroom since 6:45pm and is now 6:50pm i dont even have 5 minutes in here for you to come and screamed at me and embarrassed me and humiliate me in front of other customers. I asked him, are you the manager?, and he yelled back in my face" YES I AM THE MANAGER!" with drugged crazy eyes. I told him, well you can ask your employees they see me here everyday and i put gas, buy food, wash my car and use the bathroom therefore you cannot tell me the bathroom is only for customer because i am a customer too. And you need to understand you are not the owner of the place and you should act with respect to every customers! Watch how you talk to me and respect me since i am not a child. And you are on a Power Trip, you are targeting me based on assumption and that is totally wrong. This is United States and we are not in a country where you feel you have power over people based on your job title. The other customer who was there waiting for the bathroom to use even left the store because this manager behavior definitely was very embarras for him to act that way. Resulting in every customer to leave the store.! In addition, i replayed to him that also i want my money back since he humiliated me and told me he dont want Black People in the Store. And i am not black, I am Dominican American. I will never come back to this store since the Store manager is very Racist!! I recommend the owner of the store to watch out with this manager since he is not professional! And will scare away regular and all customers! He is lucky i didn't called the police and press charges for discrimination and humiliation and embarrassment against my Persona! Attached to this review i left an screenshot of my Apple Pay of the $8.80 i paid for the Cleaning wipes for my jeep. I will never! Never! Come to this store and i recommend people to be careful with this crazy manager! He is dangerous!

Not this gas station. First, the young lady at the counter was skillfully taking care of three customers at a time. She was very meticulous in her precision of making sales and giving change. I only stopped to ask for a bathroom, but I ended up stocking up on road trip supplies just because the place was so neat, clean, and service was incredible. When I asked about a bathroom, I expected the answer I normally get, "we don't have one" (which is always a lie) or "it's for employees only". I was ready to argue that if I couldn't use a bathroom now, I'd just do my business on the side of the building. The clerk was so polite and explained it was outside. This is where I think "an outside bathroom? No key needed? This is the imperfection of this nice little store". SO WRONG! The bathroom was the nicest bathroom I've ever been in, not just by gas station standards, but by hote standards. The bathroom was the cleanest one I've ever used. The toilet was sparkling clean, no pee on the bowl, the sink and toilet looked like they just installed it. No graffiti or writing, the sink was dry, no soap strewn about carelessly, and toilet paper was actually in the toilet paper holder (and it was full!). The most incredible part, there a nice heat blower right at toilet seat level, so the toilet seat was so warm and I was getting just the right amount of fan power blowing all over me. Then I got to wash my hands, and there's soap IN THE SOAP dispenser. I turn on the cold tap out of reflex and I was pleasantly surprised that the water was the perfect temperature; not scolding hot, not freezing finger cold. Since I travel upstate a lot, I will exclusively use this gas station for all my travel needs.

I am so appalled by the way I was treated when I attempted to buy gas at your Full Service Gulf gas…read morestation located at 212 Tarrytown Road, White Plains, NY 10607. I drove up to the gas station on 11/9/20, at approximately 9:30pm, which was yesterday evening. I was driving my father's car, which is a 2015 Infiniti Q50. This is the 1st time that I ever had to fill his gas tank because I normally drive my own car, which is a 2005 Toyota Corolla. When the gas attendant approached the car, I realized that I did not know where the latch was to open the gas tank door. The attendant said to unlock my door. I turned the car, unlocked the door, and even opened the door thinking that the latch was on the floor to the left of the driver's seat, similarly to my car. I looked around on the dashboard, driver's side door, and floor, but did not see a latch or button. I apologized to the attendant and tried to explain that this was my 1st time filling up this car's gas tank. I then looked in the vehicle manual. When I was searching, the attendant returned inside his office. After reading the manual, I realized that the gas tank door is a push door and it will only open after the driver's side door is unlocked, which would explain why the gas attendant told me to unlock the door. I beeped my horn a couple times to let the attendant know that I was ready and even got out of my car to wave at him to get his attention so that he could return to the car. Instead, he sat down on his chair. I walked into the office to let him know that I was ready and finally understood how to open the gas door only for the attendant to start yelling at me that I needed to leave and go somewhere else. I apologized again for the wait and tried to explain once more that this was the 1st time that I had to fill the gas tank and I became confused because the car is so much newer and a different brand. He yelled and chastised me and stated that he did not care whether it is my car, my father's car or a rental and that when you take a car, you ask the owner how to fill the gas tank. I told him that my father is dead and I never had to ask him about filling his tank before because I normally drive my own car. After this he says, "Your father died, you can die. I don't care. Get out of here. Go somewhere else." And he screamed this repeatedly. Now I'm even more flustered because I cannot believe that someone would speak so ill of the dead, say that I could also die, and refuse to help me. I told him that is a terrible thing to say to someone who needs help and I am standing in front of him asking for his help. He still refused to help me and yelled for me to leave. As I was walking out of his office, an SUV pulled up. In my frustration as I walked by, I stated that the attendant refused to service me because he had to wait for me to figure out how to open the gas tank and that he was chastising me when the owner could not help me since he is in fact dead. The woman was in the process of handing the attendant her card for him to fill her tank and I could not hear if she said anything because I continued to walk toward my car, but all of a sudden, he then yelled at her that she could also leave and get gas from somewhere else. So I say that this is ridiculous that he is turning down money from 2 customers. By this time, I reached my car and I drove off to another Gulf located at 274 Hamilton Avenue, White Plains, NY 10601. This gas station is self service. I ended up filling up the gas tank myself and driving home. I am so disgusted by the behavior of your gas attendant. Being a gas attendant is a position in customer service. Even if he were having a bad day, there was no excuse to explain speaking to me in that manner and refusing to service me. I am a physician so I am also in a service field. No matter how frustrated I have been, I have never treated a patient in that manner. I have also never seen a fellow coworker treat a patient so poorly. In this climate of increasing diversity and inclusion, I not only felt disrespected, but I also felt disregarded and unfairly dismissed. I cannot even say that he gave me piss poor service because he refused to even service me. And it was even more disturbing to see that he refused to service the other driver, who also happened to be another Black woman. To turn down money from 2 Black women and to yell at me in such a manner makes me believe this encounter was racially motivated. GulfOil's mission statement states that you are "flexible, reliable, and responsive," and that Gulf ensures that "our customers through our ability to add value to them - remain our priority." Your mission statement also states that Gulf "provide the highest quality products and services to our clients by constantly focusing on our three core values, Quality, Endurance, and Passion." This gas attendant did none of those things. He was completely inflexible and disgustingly responsive. I did not experience any of the core values.
