They told him that he needed windshield wipers to pass inspection, (classic BS) which was untrue and because I rain-x the window and have great visibility, but my son believed it was required as part of the inspection. so said ok to have it done. These creeps charged a unknowing kid $45 for windshield wipers on a 15 year old Honda with 245,000 miles. Costco has better ones for $14. Its ok to make a profit, but this is sad. But i am detailing you this since i know the owner of this place will read this review and for those people who want to go to this store are aware of him! Today, February 5th 2024 approximately 6:45pm The New manager targeted me and discriminated me based on my color, because i look Black,( but i am Hispanic). He was thinking i was not a regular customer and assumed i was trying to do something at the store maybe stealing since he didn't know me or he acted like he don't know me or seem me before; but the employees did. How do i know? Because he told me based on his behavior and the words he said to me in front of people. The manager Went on a power trip on me.!! I replied to him" Sir i am a regular customer look at my receipt and i was in the bathroom since 6:45pm and is now 6:50pm i dont even have 5 minutes in here for you to come and screamed at me and embarrassed me and humiliate me in front of other customers. I asked him, are you the manager?, and he yelled back in my face" YES I AM THE MANAGER!" with drugged crazy eyes. I told him, well you can ask your employees they see me here everyday and i put gas, buy food, wash my car and use the bathroom therefore you cannot tell me the bathroom is only for customer because i am a customer too. And you need to understand you are not the owner of the place and you should act with respect to every customers! Watch how you talk to me and respect me since i am not a child. And you are on a Power Trip, you are targeting me based on assumption and that is totally wrong. This is United States and we are not in a country where you feel you have power over people based on your job title. The other customer who was there waiting for the bathroom to use even left the store because this manager behavior definitely was very embarras for him to act that way. Resulting in every customer to leave the store.! In addition, i replayed to him that also i want my money back since he humiliated me and told me he dont want Black People in the Store. And i am not black, I am Dominican American. I will never come back to this store since the Store manager is very Racist!! I recommend the owner of the store to watch out with this manager since he is not professional! And will scare away regular and all customers! First, the young lady at the counter was skillfully taking care of three customers at a time. She was very meticulous in her precision of making sales and giving change. I only stopped to ask for a bathroom, but I ended up stocking up on road trip supplies just because the place was so neat, clean, and service was incredible. When I asked about a bathroom, I expected the answer I normally get, "we don't have one" (which is always a lie) or "it's for employees only". I was ready to argue that if I couldn't use a bathroom now, I'd just do my business on the side of the building. The clerk was so polite and explained it was outside. This is where I think "an outside bathroom? No key needed? This is the imperfection of this nice little store". SO WRONG! The bathroom was the nicest bathroom I've ever been in, not just by gas station standards, but by hote standards. The bathroom was the cleanest one I've ever used. The toilet was sparkling clean, no pee on the bowl, the sink and toilet looked like they just installed it. No graffiti or writing, the sink was dry, no soap strewn about carelessly, and toilet paper was actually in the toilet paper holder (and it was full!). The most incredible part, there a nice heat blower right at toilet seat level, so the toilet seat was so warm and I was getting just the right amount of fan power blowing all over me. Then I got to wash my hands, and there's soap IN THE SOAP dispenser. I turn on the cold tap out of reflex and I was pleasantly surprised that the water was the perfect temperature; not scolding hot, not freezing finger cold. Since I travel upstate a lot, I will exclusively use this gas station for all my travel needs.
