This Mobil is located on both sides of the Parkway, making its convenience even greater. I wish I knew his name but I always forget to look at his name tag but theres a particular cashier that I would shout out because he is always laughing, smiling and is super pleasant which is very refreshing especially during the hustle and bustle of the morning. Overall I would recommend the mini mart for a quick pick up to get snacks on your way to the beach or pool this summer. I would suggest you order ahead if you don't want to wait on a long line in the Dunkin Donuts part of the store. To me- Sam is a scam artist. To my father- an honest mechanic. I'm averaging one and five with 2.5…read morestars He tried to tell me that I needed $1400 of work on my car and I brought it to three other mechanics and they all agreed that he was full of it. He told me that I needed all four control arms replaced; I needed one replaced because I had hit a really bad pothole. I even had known about that. But all four control arms from a pot hole? crazy. I brought it there for a spark plug, and oil change. (he actually was wrong on the spark plug advice as well... His advice would've eventually led me to blow a head gasket) I went into the garage and asked some of the workers in Spanish if the work really needed to be done, and they said no. As soon as he saw me looking at my car and talking to the guys he started yelling, cursing and forced them to put the car down on the lift. You would think if you're telling someone they need $1400 worth of work, that you would want to show them why they needed it right? Not scream and curse because I looked under the car myself and saw that it was unnecessary. Now with all that being said, my father has been going to him for many years and trusts him implicitly. He has the complete opposite experience with him- and we still argue about this situation to this day. So although I have a negative opinion of Sam, my father has a positive one so to be fair to you, other yelpers, I'm giving you both sides of this family's opinion. Good luck to you either way. If I had to guess I would say that he is probably an honest mechanic most of the time to some people.
