    Mower Meadow Townhouse Apartments

    Mower Meadow Townhouse Apartments

When we did a walk though before be signed the lease, we were shown a beautiful (not a display, but supposed to be the one we were moving into) clean, large apartment. On moving day we shown up at that same apartment and waited for the management for 3 hours. Called them and they told us the were giving us a different apartment. That was a little upsetting, she assured us it was the exact same thing. I wanted to look at it before be signed the lease, but the carpets were still being cleaned. So we went ahead and agreed to the place. It was support to be a 3 BR 2 1/2 bath, upstairs den, eat in kitchen, dinning, kitchen, and living. Well we lucked out on the eat in, the upstairs den, and forget about parking a car in the garage. I have a Small Nissan Sudan and the garage is not wide enough to get the car past the door. The neighbors are very RUDE. My child is 3 years old and I am Always with her when she plays outside, but not the neighbors kids. They run wild. The people next door to us, seem to have a little class to them, but WOW or the loud. They have at least 4 kids and always have drinking parties on the back pad. Last night they were out there until 3 am. The management NEVER returns phone calls. They NEVER do any maintains. When we moved in we have electrical problems, I called them that day, did not see them for 2 weeks. And have had problems ever since. Parking is a HUGE issue. You have you own parking lot. Which fits 2-3 cars. No one else can park there. Just don't ever leave you apt. The neighbors like to have 4-8 cars along side the road at all times, and you can get out of your lot. Call the management, they do nothing, call the cops and you get stuck with the tow bill.. So how would someone go to the store. And then, the Rent amount. $1100 for a 3 bedroom. We pay $845 with the discount program they give to new lease signer. You have to pay the rent at any M&T bank. Liking parking is not enough of a problem you actually have to drive the rent to a bank.. good luck with that... But if you don't call and tell the bank you are using the discounted price, the BANK.. not the management charges you a $30 processing fee... So $120 application fee one time $30 credit check one time $200 pet deposit one time $50 each pet monthly $845 a month monthly $30 bank fee monthly $200 ele. monthly $90 sewage every 2 months $70 water every 2 months $60 trash pickup monthly _____________________ Too damn much for what you are getting///

We have been here nearly 5 years now and it just gets worse. No noise barriers first off folks I will warn you can hear all of your neighbors UNLESS you blast your bathroom fans and hvac system. To which is a HUGE problem to these apartments Shaool Management and construction Co put in incorrect and with now improper upkeep. Since living here I've contracted a bad rash on my hands, sores in my nose, and cannot breathe properly in this apartment building but get this, as soon as I'm outdoors, and mind you, I have allergies and I can tell you it's the apartment complex not my allergies because I breathe fine outdoors even in high pollen! Shaool management does not properly change the hvac filtration vents, does not adhere to the warning labels on said hvac system and I've stated this to them and they told me that I'm welcome to change them myself! Lol no thanks and get held liable? I also should state they have it set up with your rental payments that should you be late even a day, you and yours then get filed into the court here at shaool management" Orchard run apartments". We've also had our upstairs neighbors clog and flood our toilet and thus our bathroom flooded with shxxt water everywhere. I cannot make this stuff up. This has been a nightmare of renting and rest assured should any health issues be caused by this business legal matters will be taken. My family and I all have symptoms of a leaking hvac system, I will be providing pictures of the said hvac and how they were installed so poorly. It's no wonder we are experiencing health issues after being here 5 years. And yes I do clean lol. I was a professional cleaner before I was a stahm currently, to those that have taken the time to read this I thank you for your time and I hope I can deter anyone from renting with Shaool management especially if you have health issues as is, do not rent here. A special bonus as well is they do not disnifect the apartment complex corridors, the halls in this building have bloody fingerprints still from 3 years ago from an old tenants little boy smearing it up the whole hall to the third floor as well as a the fragrant smell of "animal training pads filled with pee" smell throughout the hall as soon as I open my apartment door to the hall. And get this, they increase the rent every year too! Where's that extra cash going certainly not to ensuring all of the tenants are taking care of aka properly taking care that the said property is still habitable for said tenants.

First, the lease is extremely tenant…read moreunfriendly with clauses that your rent can be increased within six months of a one-year lease, you have to cover 75% of your hardwood floors with protective covering, and they only paint a unit every four years! When I moved in, I had crickets for TWO WEEKS before the owners finally called an exterminator! The owners kept telling me that it was because they left a window open in my apartment, yet none of the crickets were found near the windows. Honestly, it looks like they've had an infestation of crickets and that's evident in the crickets outlined in the sealer of the hardwood floors throughout the unit! An employee, basically implied that I couldn't pay my rent in a rude email, my second month here. The real story, she had misplaced the document, with my confidential financial information, that I emailed her a month prior to her accusatory email! The unit doesn't have a washer/dryer; instead, you share with four other units. It is a small, energy efficient unit and it takes TWO-HOURS to dry an average load of clothes! It's only been recently that the laundry room is being cleaned regularly. Before I brought it to the owners attention, MOLD was growing in the laundry compartment, floor wasn't swept or mopped, and animal hair was everywhere! Outside of my apartment windows is a makeshift "patio" in mulch! It looks ridiculous having lawn furniture in mulch. Not only do I not have privacy, but also I can hear when tenants gather at this "patio". I emailed the owners and they ignored me again. Also, they did a horrible job with snow removal in the parking lot in the winter. Basically, did not clear the lot and it was a sheet of ice! The owners and employees are rude and disrespectful! They entered my apartment without my permission, and that's illegal! On the surface, the property looks nice, but that's a facade. Please find another place to live. Attached are a few pictures from the property. I wish I could share more!

The history of this building goes back further than the Civil War. It's rebirth to the modern Rose Rent Loft apartments is not without retaining some of the character and charm of a much older building, but that is what we love about it. There are 31 apartments here each with its own personality and named after different roses. Apartments run from studios, to lofts, to large three bedroom units and they are very energy efficient. Most apartments have a high efficiency washer and dryers in a stack, but a few of the smaller units share a common laundry. Which of course would be the tenants decision upon signing a lease. We love it, because it feels like a family atmosphere, where every enjoys each other's friendship. It's also nice that the owners live on-site and there is also support; when needed. We intend on staying as long as we are welcome; which will be a good many years. Thank you!

I would highly advise to not rent at Creekside Court Apartments. They try to convince you that they…read moreare cheap and the best place to live off of campus but it is a complete scam. Yes, compared to the dorms Creekside is cheaper. However, this past year rent was $630 a month if you were paying monthly rent and that was for one person. If you include the other three people living with you that totals $2,520 a month! Utilities are included which is nice however you have to pay to use the washer and dryer although you are already paying $630 a month for one room. Not to mention, rent is increasing this upcoming year to I believe $660 a month. Also, the apartment that I lived in was the cheapest option, believe it or not, there are even more expensive options. There is no reason why you should have to pay for laundry on top of that ridiculous price. The apartments are nice but they are not very spacious and definitely not worth $630 a month. If you were to have roommates you could rent an entire HOUSE in Shippensburg for cheaper than you would rent an apartment at Creekside, utilities included. When you move into Creekside they give you what is basically a "Rule Book" telling you the Do's and Don'ts while living at Creekside. One of the things mentioned is of course noise. It states that there is a quite time of 10:00 PM on the weekdays. It stated that if you were to file a noise complaint the tenants would be given a warning. If an apartment were to receive more than three or four noise complaints the tenants would either be fined or face eviction. My roommates and I had a terrible time with the neighbors above us. They were obnoxiously loud and would frequently throw parties during the weekdays. We filed numerous noise complaints with Creekside, well over the three or four required for the tenants to face punishment. We also had security go up to their apartment one night to ask them to quite down. Still, they continued to be loud and disruptive. When we asked Creekside what they were doing about it, they said to either contact security or call the local police. It turns out that this "Rule Book" is simply a guideline and Creekside has no way of actually enforcing it. When my roommates and I signed a lease at Creekside we had to give a $200 security deposit. Figuring we would get it back once we moved out if there were no damages or anything crazy like that. We all took very good care of the apartment while we lived there and cleaned regularly. When the time came to move out we spent hours upon hours cleaning our apartment and taking the advice Creekside had given everyone on how to properly clean the apartment before moving out. Again, we spent many many hours cleaning the apartment to make sure that we would not get charged for cleaning. Creekside gave us a paper explaining how much we would be charged if something were not cleaned, basically to their standards. My roommates and I just recently received our financial move out statement. Each of us were charged $37.50 for the cleaning of the tile floor. Although we swept and swiffered it before moving out. We were each also charged $30.00 for "Cleaning of apartment". Once again we cleaned for hours upon hours just to be charged a fee that is unfair and uncalled for. In total Creekside received $67.50 from me and each of my roommates totaling $270, for an apartment that was basically spotless. They are money hungry and will make up whatever excuse they can to take money from you. If I were you I would save my time and my money and live somewhere else. Creekside is not worth your money. It is close to campus but there are plenty of other options out there that are close to campus, cheaper, and a lot more spacious.

Broken door frames, holes in the walls, appliances were disgusting etc. no internet although it was included in our rent, no hot water in the bathroom for 2 months and the list goes on and on. Management is inept, constantly delays responses and makes excuses. Very poorly managed and staff is not invested in serving its student residents. Parties at all hours of the night, and now they decided to assign parking spaces with little common sense, causing many of us to now have to park several buildings away and carry groceries in the rain and snow (in a a few months) when it is unnecessary. Don't move to this place, you will regret it. It's run by amateurs but lord knows your check better be on time or else! Trash piles up around the dumpsters and the landscaping etc looks like hell. If I could give negative stars, I would! Don't live here. You will not be happy.
