FoxFix Remodel and Repair

(9 reviews)

I hired FoxFix to repair some seams in the drywall in our condo. I liked Yevhenii (and his wife)…read morevery much when he came out and I felt like they'd do a great job. Indeed, they worked diligently and cleaned up each time they visited. The first round of work, both of them came; the second and third times, just Onya came to and she was super friendly and worked quietly while I worked in the office. I didn't paint the repairs immediately because of a lack of time, but once I did, I was disappointed with how the work turned out. I contacted Yevhenii again and sent him pictures. Communication was great and he came out to look and offered to either refund the money paid and for someone else to do the work or he (and his wife) would try again. I allowed them to come back and Onya worked for hours to redo most of the work. Again, carefully, quietly, and working with my schedule. Yevhenii came to check on things and also wanted to do some of the painting to see how the repairs looked. One area in one of the bathrooms looks pretty good but the kitchen and the other bathroom looks terrible, as evidenced by the pictures. I recontacted Yevhenii and he offered a $200 refund which I accepted. There was the original price of the job and, in consideration of the friendliness that the couple offered and the six visits they made, I felt was worth a $100 tip. In the end, I had drywall dust to clean up throughout the condo on multiple days and the results look amateurish. I'm still not sure why this is so hard to do and do reasonably well. I'm not looking for taj mahal-lile work but the pictures, I think, speak for themselves. I'm sure Yevhenii does great work, as evidenced by other positive reviews and pictures, but this project was a fail.

Yevhenii is a superstar. Had a number of odd jobs around the house - shutters that needed to be…read morere-attached, weather stripping that needed replaced, curtain rods to put up, and a hanging kitchen light that had to move. He came by to do an assessment, gave me a good best guess on how long it'd take, and set up a time to come back. I checked in with my wife to see how he was doing since I was at work, and she was very impressed by how much attention he was paying to little details and how diligent he was at getting things done quickly, but making sure they were done right. He's also a great guy with a great, friendly manner. Struggles a little with some more complicated or oddball English words and phrases, but his English was still very good and we had no trouble talking to each other. Great service, and he's our new go-to handyman.

There's a reason AC&H Services gets great reviews! I'll add another! Amazing service! Great…read morepricing! 7/20/2025, a hot day in PA. Came home from church Sunday to a warm house. We have a problem. Thermostat was set to 75, temp was reading 78, and climbing. We have out of town guests coming in 4 days. If we can't resolve this we'll have to arrange for a hotel, not to mention living in miserable heat and humidity. Good luck getting an AC repair in 4 days in the heat of summer! I expect this will be a painful and costly process. I was out Monday and not able to call, so now I'm down to 3 days. After looking over reviews, I decide to call AC&H Services. Scott and Chris have nothing but good reviews. They start at 0700 so I'll try to call and see how far out their schedule is. I call at 7:10. Scott asks for my address and says he'll be here this morning. Wow, impressed that he can get me in today, I think he'll come around lunchtime, walk around and give me an estimate and schedule a future day to come back to do the work. Not at all what happens. Doorbell rings at 7:25! 15 minutes after the phone call! It gets better! At the door, not much in the way of introductions, Scott immediately begins asking questions, what happens, what doesn't happen. Looks at the thermostat for a few seconds, then he and Chris head around back to look at the condenser. Quickly they figure out it's a bad contactor. A relatively inexpensive part that they have on hand in the truck. Just a couple of minutes later and the AC is back online, the house is cooling, the invoice is written, and that's that! I'm good to go and they're ready to leave 30 minutes from the time I called! Clearly things worked out for me and the odds of everything working out don't often happen. One of the reasons I called his business, other than the killer reviews, is that he's very local to me and I hoped it would help, and it did. It's a testament to their professionalism and customer service that, not being an AC expert, Scott could have sold me anything at huge markups because I needed it fixed now. That's not how it went, and I can't express how grateful I am. If at all possible, I will absolutely give Scott my future HVAC business and have, in-fact, advised him that when things slow for him in the fall, I'll want him to replace my old AC unit with something more modern. 10/10 recommend AC&H Services!

Well got my lesson on that one. Used Keller/Williams of Carlisle to sale a property in Carlisle…read more They will sale the property. Just like any other realtor. They are 3% commission. AND THEN $800 for what the call a broker's FEE. What is the 3% for. You don't think the brokers is getting a big part of that? And then you agree to using a Co. that they are associated with to handle the closing. You don't think for a second, they aren't getting part of that do you. LOL. The buyer's agent was also from them. At closing they charged them all the same fees as I paid. What a scam. But I signed with them. The worst part was after the deal closed I had to call and ask where my money way. Deal closed on a Fri. I called on Mon. The fucks answer was, oh, we forgot to send it. You can bet your ass they got their money on Fri. I will never use them again.
