Great move. Three guys showed up at 7:45 for a 8am appointment. Needed to move two full 10 by 20 storage units to new house in Waynesboro. My estamate was $1545 for the move from Frederick Md to Waynesboro. Fiinished the move at 2pm. Came back withh the bill for $1285.Less then the estamate. even put a few ceiling tiles in for me in the basement. Gave each a great tip tip for moving my stuff without any issues. We hired these guys to move my mother from Chambersburg, PA to White Marsh, MD. They were incredible. I wish I had used them when I moved within Baltimore City (just a half a mile which was a terrible experience). These guys were friendly, they arrived early, they came in under budget. They were fast, but took great great with all my Mom's belongings. They even made sure everything was placed in her new apartment where she wanted before they left. I can't recommend them enough. I hired Zody's to move me a few weeks ago. I had heard from several people that Zody's offers a professional and efficient moving experience. This is NOT what I received. The lead mover complained that he was tired from working weekends. (My move was on a Monday.) The three movers were continuously on their cell phones or taking smoke breaks. I got the feeling that even though this was a relatively small move, the movers wanted to get paid for as long as possible. For $170 an hour, I was expecting much more! Several items were damaged, including a $350 freezer. Luckily I found someone to fix this when the corner was smashed and would no longer close. After speaking to both Tina and Lauren in the office, I received NO customer satisfaction. I was told that they would "talk to the team" that moved me. How does this cover the damaged items or the wasted time that I paid top dollar for? I strongly do not recommend Zody's. Don't make the mistake that I did - do your homework. I contacted United about moving my stuff cross country, and they connected me to Zody's. The only contact I have had with them so far is setting up my walk-through for an estimate, and I am already blown away. Both of the individuals I have spoken to are absolutely professional and caring. I have never dealt with such sweet people during a move. I am seriously keeping my fingers crossed that the price is right so I can continue to work with these wonderful people! Edit: Went through the estimation, and the price was most certainly great! I have signed all of the paperwork and now I am just waiting for my stuff. They are quick to respond to any questions I have, and are absolutely professional to the highest standard. I would suggest Zody's to anybody and everybody. I'll try to provide one last update once I get my stuff on the other end! Final edit: all of my stuff is here and in mostly great condition. Few scratches here and there, plus a couple of cracks. But it is nothing out of the ordinary. The way they packaged/wrapped up a few things was odd, but nothing I couldn't handle upon arrival. Good move but very disappointing customer service. When I moved in Feb, 2016, I needed a mover and storage company. Zody's was recommended and I hired them to move my personal items. Although they were quite expensive, they did a nice job. They inventoried and labeled every item which seems like overkill for a non-commercial move. But the move, storage, and delivery went very well and I was very impressed. However, they really let me down when the movers broke a leg of my bed during delivery. I contacted customer service and couldn't get someone to investigate my complaint. After about 6 months, I had to hire a furniture repairman to fix the bed leg. Customer service was very friendly on the phone but not responsive. read more

So impressed with their service! When I called to ask questions and set up the move, the staff were very friendly and helpful. My move was not a large move, we just needed to move two pieces of furniture from my daughter's house to my house. Since I'm on a second floor apartment, I felt we needed more help. Zody's did this small job quickly and efficiently. The gentlemen who came to move the furniture were friendly and had everything moved quickly and carefully. Zody's is awesome!! They were extremely helpful with my last move. The staff was very professional, punctual, and efficient from the setup, walk-through, and quote to the final move of my home goods. They handled my personal items with care, and were very hard working. I also had a very short timeline, and they had everything set up in less than a week. Very good service. I forgot to mention in my original post the professionalism of the delivery driver, Cory. After all goods were unloaded, there were two boxes unaccounted for on the inventory. Cory voluntarily remained with me until we found the boxes. The mix up was a result of two items being mislabeled. Between he and I cross-referencing his inventory with the delivery matrix, we quickly found the "missing" items. After 28 years of military moves, I can assure you that it is highly unusual for a delivery driver to show such concern for total accountability. Normally, drivers just tell you to fill out a loss/damage form and they quickly leave. Well done, Cory. read more

I hired this company to both pack & deliver and upon opening boxes, sentimental & important items were missing. I called to inquire if there was a "lost & found" and perhaps a couple boxes ended up there and was told they would investigate and call me back. They never did. Among the numerous items missing were my daughters school pictures (in one 11 x 13 " frame (stacked) from preschool through 7th grade as well as an irreplaceable picture of my husbands parents from the 1950's (in a large frame as well). Other items missing are as follows: Brand new Skil sander, camera, 4 books written by my father, large box of stationary as well as an American flag. All items were packed from the same room except the sander. If you hire this company, I recommend you count each and every box being loaded & then stand there & count each & every one being delivered. Sure wish I had but was inside directing where to put things (as most people are). I am sick over the big tip I gave them on delivery day as well as the ornate room heater that I gave one of the packers when he told me he didn't have enough heat in his trailer. *This is my 7th home and probably my 8th using packing companies/movers. I have NEVER had anything missing before. Movers beware. read more

This company (if you can call it that) was the most rude, disrespectful uncaring & unprofessional money hungry people you could ever do business with. My husband met with them to get an estimate to move us (our family of 5) & they gave us a hand written estimate for $1500. This was to move us a short distance (10 miles) & we did all packing. We had been renting & were on a time limit, we HAD to be out by a certain day because our lease was up so we had everything ready & clearly labeled for them. When Zody's team arrived, it consisted of 5 guys (none were the 1 who wrote the estimate). A young guy who said he was the son of the owner, two teenagers, a much older man who looked like he shouldn't be walking let alone moving furniture & a guy who had some sort of injury & was limping. They then told us as they were small talking that our rates could be be higher than the quote based on time. We helped through r the 2 days with moving our own boxes, lifting our own furniture & even carrying some of our own boxes because multiple times we caught these guys standing around doing nothing. When the move was over, the owner's son approached me to tell me he had broken our large flatscreen tv & asked me to sign the receipt for the total I would owe $4300. This was no where close to the estimate my husband I had been given, I was so mad...we had helped them with our own move, they broke our tv & now this! I refused to sign, so he called the office, he then accepted the check I wrote for the original estimate amount, he wrote "paid in full" on receipt & I thought they were trying to offer me at least se good service but NO, they sent me a bill for the remainder, I refused to pay explaining my receipt said paid in full so they took it to an attorney who filed with a district judge to sue me, I just paid it to keep my credit record clean, how much more? 4 times more than the estimate!!!! I would never recommend these people, I'd rather move anything alone!!!!' read more
