At 330pm, she replied that her car broke down 2 weeks ago and she'd let me know by 7pm if she could make it. That left me virtually no time to replace her, which to me is irresponsible, unprofessional, and unacceptable,and I told her that. This wasn't just a regular cleaning that would have been no big deal to cancel. I get that things happen and cars break down, but she knew about this issue 2 weeks in advance, and she should have let me know a week before that there was a good chance she might have to cancel. That would have given me plenty of time to replace her. I reached out to 10 places on Yelp to try to book that Sunday, but none were available. Heather got back to me at 430pm saying that her sister would take her, but I'd already lost faith in her. I finally found someone that was available on NextDoor, so I told Heather that her services were no longer needed. Her cleaning services were only average the 2 times she cleaned my place, so I'm going to give my monthly cleaning to the person I found on NextDoor from now on. Update: Removed one more star for the flood of argumentative and personally insulting texts I received from her after my initial post.

You will get a phone call to confirm the day before your appointment, but I decided to call since it was 3pm and wanted to be sure someone was going to come to my property on time. I was given the timeframe of 10-12p for someone to arrive to start the process. Jason arrived at 11a. He quickly began to set up and pre-treat. He indicated that all windows should be open for air ventilation to help with the drying. I told him that my husband and I had to run errands and he was OK with us leaving. We just needed to remit payment before and he will just close up after he's done. He took my card info and did his work. When we came back, all was done. Quick and efficient. I started by contacting multiple cleaning services via Yelp (messaged each one) and Golden Shine was by far the friendliest and most informative. They seemed like they actually wanted my business. So we proceeded with booking a day for them to come. The booking process was simple and they recommend making a list of things you want to be handled first, to make sure they get your required places cleaned in case they run out of time. I was also told the cleaners were required to go through a background check, which was comforting. We ended up booking a specific amount of time and set a cut of time so that if the cleaners weren't finished by that time, they would leave and we wouldn't continue to get charged. Well it just so happened that the day our cleaners were scheduled to come, I went into labor. The LAST thing on my mind was the cleaning service, but they were on top of things and called my phone to let us know about what time they would arrive. My husband was able to answer and explained to them what was going on. We still wanted them to come even though the thought of strangers in our place without one of us there was nerve racking. They were so accommodating and were willing to go to the front office of our complex to get a key (that we requested for them). They let themselves in our place to clean, and cleaned away. We got home two days after the cleaning, but it still smelled freshly cleaned and looked great! My only negative comment is that they put two of our cast iron pans in the dishwasher - huge no no! I ended up having to re-season both pans. But I can't blame them, the two pans were sitting out (I had forgotten to put them away before going into labor and didn't remember to tell them not to worry about the pans), so they were just doing their jobs. I would only hope this review will help and the cleaners are explained the cast iron pots should never, ever be put in a dishwasher much less cleaned with soap! Overall, I'd recommend this cleaning service! Just make sure to be specific about things you do/don't want!

I came by the following day & saw that nothing had been cleaned with the exception of the windows. She cleaned my windows for 3 hours?! I complained to Maria regarding Cheese's work: -Bathtub was not clean (I wiped my finger on the bathtub & dust came off, refer to picture) -Bathroom sink was not clean -Kitchen sink was not clean -Cabinets in the hallways were not clean (picture) -Cabinets in kitchen were not clean (picture after 2nd "cleaning") -Kitchen countertops were not clean Cheese came by the following day, not happy that she was back. All she had to do was use a cloth to wipe it down... & after the fact, I still had to clean everything because she did a crap job!
