Over the years, I have boarded at five or six different barns in Ohio and various other states. I have found the care at TRC to be outstanding. The school horses for the therapeutic program make up half of the population of horses. Stalls are immaculate and cleaned daily, horses have amble grazing space in on 60 acres of secure pastures. Several veterinarians and farriers visit the Centre weekly or more often as needed and the health and welfare of the horses is a top priority. As a committed horse advocate, I have never seen an objectionable practice at TRC. Their work with individuals with physical, developmental and other disabilities is awesome!

Specifically, her reply and attacks in response to the previous review posted about the injury that occurred to our dog. Admittedly it has been very difficult during our dog's recovery (which she is still going through), which is why this review is somewhat delayed. The matter is simple really - our dog was injured while she was under the care of Aunt Becky. However, the matter and Aunt Becky's response has gone beyond the scope of human decency - which compelled me to post this review. There are many false statements that have been attempted to be passed as truth. The one I feel really needs to be pointed out is the suggestion of demand of money. Again, the matter is simple: after this terrible event occurred, an understanding was made between us and the business owner. When this was changed and backtracked by the owner, I felt it was reasonable to question those actions. Also, we dealt with Aunt Becky as pet parents and owners. It's appalling that the business owner felt it necessary to drag my profession into her aspersed response. Our fellow pet owners should be aware - a public smear may be the least of your concerns. Also, the use of our dog's image to promote her business after this injury is just cruel. This was a horrible tragedy that we are still dealing with daily. Unfortunately, Aunt Becky has cast aside all sincerity and decency. We hope this never happens to another pet parent/owner.

This past year I've expressed my concern for her weight loss, loss of appetite, throwing up a couple time a week, and reoccurring uti infections. I notice a lump on her throat a couple months ago and they tested her. They said the test has come back inconclusive. I feel they showed no concern for the lump and even told me at a following appointment that she looks great, her weight loss was good and they thought her lump had shrunk. My intuition told me something was wrong! A huge lump on the throat and major weight loss are alarming signs. Still concerned, I sought out a second opinion from another vet. This vet was immediately concerned with the lump. Within 24 hours this new vet was able to tell me the horrible truth. My dog has thyroid cancer and it's too late to save her. She only has a few months left to live. Our family is crushed and angry. I feel this practice has scammed my family and didn't care about our pet's health. I feel they only care about money.
