My husband and I felt very exposed the entire time. The headrest was covered by paper towel, so not soft and relaxing at all. During the massage they talked to each other the ENTIRE time. So if you like a relaxing massage with soothing music THIS IS NOT THE PLACE! We honestly question if they have any real massage training. There was no real structure. The lady kept sliding her forearm up and down my spine which left my spine feeling sore for the next few days. We definitely will not ever go back. Neither my husband nor I were happy with our couples massage. The bath was good and the warm beds felt great. As far as the massages, they asked what specific areas we wanted worked on then completely ignored those areas. Mine were my calves and ankles (I have arthritis in my ankles and physically showed her where to massage) and not only did she not massage them, she completely missed one entire leg. She also skipped an arm but it was the ankles and legs I was most concerned with. My husband's areas were his legs, lower back and hips. She barely touched his legs and hips. They spent the majority of the appointment with us on our stomachs while they worked on our shoulders and mid/upper back. Both of the ladies were very nice and professional and we tipped 20% for that and the atmosphere but it kind of felt like we were the last appointments of the day and they just wanted to be done as quickly and as easily as possible. In their defense, neither of us said anything because he thought maybe it was just his therapist and he didn't want to ruin my experience and I felt the same. After we left, he finally asked how my massage was and we realized we were both disappointed. It is a lovely place, very calming and relaxing and again, the people we dealt with were all very nice and professional.

It was super easy to book an appointment online. I was so grateful to find a 90 minute spot for the following day. They did mention that they prefer calls to make appointments. The place itself is a very unassuming from the outside. It's next to a donut place and there's parking available right outside. There are chimes hanging from the door, so a staff person came to the front as soon as I walked in. They asked me to wait while they finished setting up the room, and then they walked me to it. The staff is very nice. Their English is limited but you don't need to communicate a lot. There's relaxing music and the rooms are clean, nicely decorated with dim lighting. You decide how much clothes to keep on/take off. Their top sheet is very thin and small so I was a bit hesitant. It helps to think of massage therapists like doctors, they're very professional about it all. The massage started with the massage therapist completely on top of the table, applying lots of pressure on my back. It was great. She asked me to speak up if it was too much but I like a lot of pressure. They also use hot stones and massage you with them. There's even some pulling and stretching, all techniques that make your body feel loose and limber afterward. About 70% of the massage is facing down. The last 30% is facing up. I went a second time and my massage therapist had to answer the phone. They apologized for having to step out and another person came in and continued the massage so I wouldn't wait. It was a bit odd since I was looking down and didn't know what was going on, but yay for teamwork. It's also very affordable- worth every penny!
