My lower back started hurting really bad out of nowhere, so I needed a deep tissue massage asap. This place was recommended by a friend that lives nearby. It was super easy to book an appointment online. I was so grateful to find a 90 minute spot for the following day. They did mention that they prefer calls to make appointments. The place itself is a very unassuming from the outside. It's next to a donut place and there's parking available right outside. There are chimes hanging from the door, so a staff person came to the front as soon as I walked in. They asked me to wait while they finished setting up the room, and then they walked me to it. The staff is very nice. Their English is limited but you don't need to communicate a lot. There's relaxing music and the rooms are clean, nicely decorated with dim lighting. You decide how much clothes to keep on/take off. Their top sheet is very thin and small so I was a bit hesitant. It helps to think of massage therapists like doctors, they're very professional about it all. The massage started with the massage therapist completely on top of the table, applying lots of pressure on my back. It was great. She asked me to speak up if it was too much but I like a lot of pressure. They also use hot stones and massage you with them. There's even some pulling and stretching, all techniques that make your body feel loose and limber afterward. About 70% of the massage is facing down. The last 30% is facing up. I went a second time and my massage therapist had to answer the phone. They apologized for having to step out and another person came in and continued the massage so I wouldn't wait. It was a bit odd since I was looking down and didn't know what was going on, but yay for teamwork. It's also very affordable- worth every penny! read more

Another amazing massage from Mia. I almost hate to share this review, knowing it might make her more busy and harder to see in the future. But some things just have to be shared for the greater good. Ha. Ha. Hands down the best masseuse I have ever worked with. She is professional, funny, and very friendly. If communication is ever a problem, she happily uses a nifty translator on her phone to quickly bridge any communication gap. Not only is the massage amazing. Yoyo was excellent! She was funny, attentive and man... can these ladies get down! She has that grandma strength that seems to come out of no where! Like seriously, I feel like a new man, I never understood the point of paying people to beat you up, but after this. I am a believer. The hot stones were something else! At first I was like " you going to do what with those!?" Yet, alas I was wrong again, these stones were exactly what my back needed. My favorite part is YoYo telling me to relax and me going " I am relaxed! and she would respond " oh no, no, you need to relax" this went on for a good 30 seconds, she was right, I did need to relax. We had a wonderful couples massage! Mia and Yoyo were wonderful massage therapists. We left feeling like a million bucks. They were so friendly, warm and welcoming. The massage was really thorough and you could really tell Yoyo knew the body and where to work. She really worked lot of my knots out and stretched me really well. Mia always gives the most relaxing and healing massages. The spa itself is SO relaxing and easy to enjoy. The music that plays is peaceful. Mia uses combined forms of Chinese medicine in her massages as well. Absolutely the best massage I've ever had. They will use warm stones with coconut oil on your back to work out your muscles and cupping therapy is available as well! So soothing and comforting. Exactly what I needed. Left the spa completely relaxed, rejuvenated and refreshed. There's typically someone up front to help and if by off chance there isn't, someone comes up within less than a minute or two! If you want a great massage look no further than H1 spa. The two beautiful sisters, Mia and Yoyo are simply the best. The spa is very nice and clean. The atmosphere is perfect. Soft lights and comfortable soothing music. I've had other massages in Tulsa, but they don't hold a candle to H1 spa. If you decide to go to H1 I guarantee you'll never get a massage anywhere else. Overall the couples massages was very good. Masseuses were nice and professional. They really worked out the kinks and stretched your body out, which felt great after the massage. Reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that when we went it looked like our two masseuses were the only ones at the clinic and thus they left the door open to our room, which felt awkward as we were both naked under the sheets. Also, because I think they were the only ones there, anytime someone came in the front door, my masseuse would leave to talk to them, interrupting my massage, so not very relaxing with all the interruptions. H1 spa is in a new location but it is not new to Tulsa. Yoyo has worked in Tulsa for almost 10 years, that I know of. She is very competent and skilled. If you require a deep tissue massage she is the one you should call. She uses knees, elbows, hands, or feet. I mention deep tissue because many massueses are not very strong or don't wish to work hard. She is a very hard worker and will work on you for a full hour. She is not one that stops in 45 or 50 min. H1 spa is honest and legitimate. Do not call or visit if you are looking for a " SPECIAL" massage. If you are looking for an honest Chinese massage then I recommend H1 Spa. read more
