Very good staff! I was having a problem with my previous dentist and I had to find someone new. When I came here, I was seen within a few minutes of my scheduled time which was great. The office was very clean. I had my child with me, they seemed to like it as well. When I was brought back to the room, I explained that I needed a possible filling. They were quick to drill and fill. I havent felt any discomfort since my experience. So far I'm happy with the place. I'm not local to the area, and this was a semi-emergency. Just leaving the Zaragosa location. We had appointments for the whole family today because it was the only time we could get together. Unfortunately we had a doctors appointment prior and were going to cut it close in making it on time. My wife called to let them know we were on our way and they said no problem because they allowed a "15 minute grace period". Well with traffic we got here at the 16 minute mark and were told it was too late, we'd have to reschedule. I guess if the 1 minute time difference was going to throw their whole system off because of the precision timing of dentistry operations then I might have understood. The receptionist was non-chalant and said they would need to reschedule. I asked her "what time is it" and she replied "16 after" and gave me an empty headed look. I said "that's fine" and walked out. I would have to imagine that everyone employed here is totally secure in their job knowing people need them more than they need business. Came here on a groupon deal and glad I did. I only got a general cleaning, but the front desk lady was very nice. The hygenist took the time to try and explain things to me, and I did end up getting xrays for a possible problem. The cleaning made my mouth feel a lot more cleaner than before I showed up. The dentist was able to answer some questions I had about a back molar tooth. I'm considering coming back to have more work done, but for the cleaning I would give them 5 stars. read more

This is our first visit to sunny smiles. Made an appointment for myself and 2 boys. Coming into the building it's so bright and welcoming. They have a play area which keeps my toddler entertained while waiting. Everyone at the front desk is very polite and professional and greets you with a smile. Merari was the one checking is in she was such a sweet person. I don't remember my dentist name but he was professional and nice as well. Both my sons had a great 1st visit and we will be back to them in 6 months for the kids and I will be back Friday again. read more

Terrible terrible service. We had appoinyments at 10 AM amd we came on time. We were told to have a sit and wait. Noticed other customers there already and found out one had an appointment at 930 and it was 1030 already. Another older lady had been here since 9 and hadnt been seen yet. Finally we were told 15 more minutes but we waited another 45 and nothing. The other patients were told the same as well. One patient cancelled overheard that she was double booked. We tried to rescheduled and we were told they were clearing rooms for us. 15 minutes later we are still waiting. Didnt schedule an early morning appointment to sit at the dentist waiting room all day. Poor customer service. Dont lie to you patients. I cant wait to see what their work looks like. All the staff up front looked confused as to why the hold up. Time to find another dentist. read more

I previoulsy had and appointment at Sunny Smiles on the eastside location and I was very disgusted and disappointed with the office. When I checked in the front office girls looked mad and rude, one of them looked like she just rolled out of bed. Asked to use the restrooms and the were disgustinly dirty and no hand soap. I did inform the ladies in front and no one seemed to get up and clean them. I did over hear them discussing that the do not have time to clean them and they never disinfect them. We are in a pandemic and they seriously can not disinfect the office. Once I was sent to the back to get seen the ladies in the back are very nice and the doctor is wonderful. I did ask to for the manager and they told him he was busy to talk to me about my concerns about the cleanliness of the front office and restrooms. I did go back into the restrooms before I left and they were exactly the same DISGUSTING! Needless to say I will not be going back there. Someone needs to report them. read more

I scheduled my son's first dental appointment here on a Saturday because I work Monday through Friday I was excited because they were able to schedule him pretty soon, Medicaid hasn't sent a card in the mail but working in a medical office myself I know u can call Medicaid with the patients ss and access their plan...so I schedule with them and they said it was fine. I drove about 30 minutes to my son's appointment and when I get there the lady asked me for his card and I told her I don't have one I told u guys yesterday when I scheduled, she has me fill out all the paper work to tell me they can't pull him up and they can't see me unless I pay, mind you they did not bother to have the common courtesy to call me and tell me they couldn't pull his benefits before I drove there! Not only that the person who scheduled it didn't even bother calling Medicaid to verify his plan!! I will never be returning to this office... read more

This place was really good. They had an awesome dentist and staff. Then everything changed, New dentist and hygienist. The staff at the front desk was nice as usual but the back side is totally different. I was amazed at the drastic change. My family has been going here for the last three years. The xray tech dropped the mouth piece on the floor and was rude. The dentist came and looked at me and told something to the tech. I asked him what's he gonna do and he said the front desk people will come and explain it after the cleaning. And finally the cleaning, Wow simply the worst one I had in my entire life. My face was smeared with spit and fluids. I had to literally shut my eyes the entire time to guard it from the fluids and overall a very sub par cleaning. Then came a lady saying you have to fix some problems, it will be a cpl of hundred bucks and there is some accessories which are good for you but the insurance doesn't cover and it's 300 bucks for that . Be careful with this money hungry business. The dentist are very unprofessional. The office manager is very rude and always trying to push unnecessary procedures on you. I had unnecessary filling done and have been having problems with the fillings. I have been to the office so many times trying to get the dentist to fix this problem and he only makes it worse each time, he messed up my bite. The dentist lies to my face saying he is not drilling on my teeth, because that's all he does drill and drill on my teeth trying to fix my bite. I know how it smells when they drill on your teeth and I told him I didn't want him drilling on my teeth anymore and he tells me he is not. My husband also had unnecessary work done. I came to Sunny Smiles for my yearly cleaning today and left happy. I really liked their dental hygienist. She was professional and did here best not to make it uncomfortable or painful. In addition to the great hygienist they also have televisions mounted on the ceilings playing Netflix while your getting dental work done. New to the El Paso area, we found Sunny Smiles online. They seemed to have good reviews and were close to home so we decided to try them out. On the surface the place seemed great. Friendly staff, a huge play area my kids loved. However, my 4 yr old and I both were told we needed several fillings. 6 for my 4 year old! (who had just visited a dentist 6 months earlier for a cleaning) My daughter was very visibly upset when they did her fillings. She seemed to be in pain, and I was instructed to go to the waiting room where I could hear her screaming for me. I asked them to give her anesthesia if needed to calm her and they never did. I also had work done. The dr. kept drilling on me, and I could feel it. I had to have multiple shots before I was numb. Which made me wonder if my daughter was seriously in pain and not numb all the way! Fast forward 5 months... We are now in Colorado. I just went in for my 6 month cleaning and was informed (and saw the xrays) that show that the dentist at Sunny Smiles did a terrible job putting in 2 of my fillings. They both have large gaps around them. On one tooth I now have another cavity that formed in the open gap, and the other tooth hurts terrible to eat or drink due to the gap and open nerve. My new dentist also said that he drilled too deep and never should ve put a filling in that deep. I now have to have those 2 fillings removed and 2 porcelain onlays put in. Costing at total of $2,020. OUT OF POCKET. since my insurance wont cover it since the fillings are only a few months old. My 4 year old goes in in 2 weeks for her cleaning, I am praying we don t hear the same news about her teeth as well. She does complain of pain in one of her teeth when she eats. Their office manager and dentist (male, can't remember his name) are two of the most unprofessional people I have ever come into contact with. They even LIED to my face and told me that Texas law requires new patients to have full xrays taken before having a cleaning!! I later confirmed with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners that NO LAW LIKE THIS EXISTS!! I left without xrays and without a cleaning, feeling completely disrespected. When I was first brought to the xray area, I informed the technician that I did not want to have xrays taken for personal reasons. She said that was fine and that they had a waiver form I could fill out. She came back with the office manager, who lied to me about the supposed Texas law. I thought that sounded very strange but she insisted that it was the case. I then told her that I might be pregnant, and asked if there were exceptions to the law. She said she would speak with the dentist (acting obviously annoyed) and came back saying that it was fine. She took me to the exam room, and the dentist came in and started asking me personal questions in a very inappropriate manner, such as "how often are you taking pee tests?" Yes he said PEE tests!! I said what does that have to do with me possibly being pregnant?? He continued questioning me, and as I started to get angry he said he was just trying to figure out what the situation was. He then confirmed that xrays were required by Texas law for new patients to have cleanings and they wouldn't be able to clean my teeth. A few weeks later after looking around online and finding nothing to confirm this supposed law they were talking about, I emailed the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners to ask about the law and they told me no such law exists. So they are LIARS!!! I could understand if they had a policy that stated they would not do cleanings on new patients without xrays, but this is not what they said. These people are very dishonest, find a dentist elsewhere!!! read more

This office has the worst customer service, not warm welcoming and was told just to have a seat and wait. Appt was scheduled for 1030 and wasnt seen for almost an hour and a half after that. When I checked on an update with the front concerning how long I have been waiting they said any minute. I stated this was unacceptable as I didnt plan on waiting all day, and asked for a manager. The manager was sitting up next to the individul I was talking to you and said I am the manager really nasty in tone. She overheard the whole conversation and just stated that they were trying to confirm my insurance and that unfortunately i would have to sit and wait and told me to have more patience. My husband had a horrible toothache all week and finally couldnt take it any more. I called the office thursday around 4 and they told me to come right in. I was so appreciative because they took care of my husband and did a root canal. My husband felt so much better. The doctor and staff was so nice to us and stayed late to finish his root canal. While my husband was getting his root canal my kids were playing in there play ground. I will be bringing my kids in next week for a check up when my husband finishes his cap. read more
