I had my first visit with Dr Tran at the Yarbrough office on July 25th. A traffic accident on I-10, closed the freeway down and I was almost 2 hours late for my appointment. Dr Tran graciously agreed to work me in. I shared that prior dentists had difficulty numbing my lower right molar to enable proceeding with a crown. Dr Tran is very patient, gentle and highly skilled. He stopped regularly throughout administering local anesthetic to inquire if I was feeling any sensation. The numbing was successful and I felt zero discomfort throughout the procedure. I look forward to my visit today for the permanent crown. As an RN, I know how important communication and collaboration are in delivering healthcare to patients. I originally gave my review based on half an experience. To date, I truly believe this dental office is ran by some true customer service oriented doctors who care. First, I did have a minor issue with the billing and the insurance claims. Once Dr.Parsa realized that there was an issue he reached out and fixed the issue. request an appointment for dental cleaning. They asked me fill out many forms and I gave all the required information. I asked that they notify me as soon as possible if my insurance covered the cleaning....it took them 10 days to tell me and when I confirmed my appointment they told me that until I was there they would tell me if I needed basic cleaning or if I needed deep cleaning. Other dentists give you the basic cleaning and if you require another cleaning they tell you, but they do the basic cleaning for you. This they did not want to give me the basic cleaning. Came to Sol in pain just to get turned away cause of not having appt. made an appt for Friday. Then call me to change my appt to the next day. I sat around for 2 hours just to have a 60 second consultation and for them not to be able to do the work until next week. It was a complete waste of time, staff upfront was rude, and if you had no intentions on doing the work why squeeze me in because you plan on closing on a business day. Keep going back since it's the only place open late. This time I got a different dentist than the last 2 times, Dr. Robles. See, I know his name because he introduced himself to me. He also explained the x rays to me and showed me the decay he saw and explained which teeth were priorities to fix. I am much happier with sol dental now and will request Dr. Robles from now on. The only pain I felt was from the shot in your mouth, other then that fast and affordable. They take walk-ins, emergencies and are open fairly late for those who need more time to get to the location. Everyone is very polite. read more

Wish I could give 5 negative stars. I was about to fill out my parent's info when I read that you could fill out the paperwork there, according to their website link. Some female employee called on Thursday and rudely tells me that the paperwork needs to be filled out 2 days in advance. I mentioned that this was not stated on their page and I advised her that I resided quite far and was not going to drive over 40 miles there and back home to fill out paperwork when it had not been mentioned as mandatory, that I would arrive 2 hrs early to fill out the paperwork. Do not use this dental office. I went with family, was told I needed to have 4 teeth pulled, they sent me to specialist which cost me money. He actually said," Why are you here? Whoever sent you does not know what they are talking about." Though they cost me $ 519 decide to use them for cleaning. Took my 5 year old for check up today, this am. After having us sit in chair for 20 minutes they finally started to clean His teeth. The air suction was being pushed too far dwn His throat and gagging Him. i told the hygentist that hey my son is gagging. he said,' It is not down to far." My mother had to have several procedures done which were suppose to take a couple of months. We are now in the sixth month and still the work is not finished. She has been in tremendous pain, and they keep giving her the run around. She had to pay upfront over a thousand dollars not including what the insurance was going to pay. They were quick to get her money but slow in rendering services. Don't try to ask the manager, Lupe, for help! She basically has no clue! Last year, I had a deep cleaning from them which cost quiet a bit. I had follow ups through the year. Last visit, I was told that I needed a treatment that my insurance wont cover and I had to pay out of cost. I paid and now this last visit I was told my deep cleaning didn't have the correct follow ups and I need to pay for more treatments that my insurance wont cover. The dentist said my teeth were fine and nothing was wrong, but he recommended this expensive treatment. This was a blatant cash grab. They refused to do even a basic cleaning and just wanted me to pay more out of pocket. Avoid, they just care about getting as much cash out of you. read more

I had been going to this place for years and never really saw a reason to go elsewhere until my latest experience. Every dentist I've been treated by always made me feel comfy and like a valued patient. I went in because a part of my filling fell out when I bit into something. I got my 6th month check up/cleaning out of the way and asked if the dentist could look at the tooth bothering me. When the dentist (she's new, she didn't bother introducing herself, she wasn't there 6mths ago when I went in for some dental work) came in, she put a ball of something on the tooth that was bothering me, asked if it hurt and when I said yes. She replied "you have a big cavity" walked away, came back and said I needed a root canal?! How?! I got a 2nd opinion from the other dentist on staff Dr. Robles a few days later. He said there was a SMALL cavity, no need for a root canal but would recommend a crown. The prices are normally affordable. But due to this experience I took myself elsewhere found a new dentist and that tooth that was bothering me was fixed with a filling. One visit I'm needing a root canal? On another visit I'm needing a crown? For a small cavity? This place is great for a spur of the moment decision and a cleaning. But I feel other dentists offer a better experience elsewhere. read more

This is a great place. Staff are nice and friendly. It got 2 Xboxes in the waiting area and TVs everywhere. While getting your teeth cleaning done you can watch a movie laying down. Office and all the equipment are new and up to date. I recommend this place to anyone. read more

Sol Dental is hands down the best dental office that I have ever been to in my entire life. I usually travel to El Paso once a month to visit a client and I got a really bad toothache on a late evening of a Saturday. I found these guys on Yelp and gave them a call 15 minutes before they were closing down the office for the day. I explained my emergency to them over the phone and they immediately put me on the phone with a dentist and they even kept the office open until I got there. I left their office pain free and I went back to them on Monday for a second visit free of charge. I truly appreciate the level of service that Sol Dental provided to me on a budget. My molar broke while visiting ELP from California. Sol worked me into their schedule first thing in the morning, x ray'd my mouth and put a temporary on the tooth until I could get back to my regular dentist in CA. And the capper....they did it gratis! Amazing. read more

The people at Sol Dental where extremely welcoming, kind, accommodating and professional. I had x-rays and a deep cleaning done and the whole process was easy, well-explained and comfortable. No one likes to visit the dentist, but I do highly recommend this dentist office. They hold convenient hours, being open until 6 pm on weekdays and their rooms are kid (and adult friendly) with downward facing TVs playing popular family movies. The doctor is an oral surgeon (which I love) and will be taking out my wisdom teeth. He's a very nice man as well, soft spoken, and knowledgeable. The hygienist, she was was the best! She was very attentive to my needs and did an excellent job. Nobody made me feel shamed because I hadn't had my teeth cleaned in about a year. The front office ladies were also very nice! The reason why I'm only giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because everything well when I got there. everybody was pretty friendly and the place was clean . The only thing I didn't like is when the lady who's in charge of checking your insurance or form of pay got a little attitude because I told her I didn't want to get the services done that same day because I was not ready to pay the 200 they were asking for, so I told her I was gonna schedule for another day. I was able to get an appointment the very next day. I came in for an exam and X-Ray. It was found I needed a little work and they were able to do it right away which was very convenient. They also gave me an affordable payment plan. The staff is all very personable and accommodating. The doctors are also very friendly. The hygienist here is awesome BUT it is so difficult to get through, awful customer service. I had an appointment I had to reschedule, called about a week before the date. No answer so I left a voicemail. Never got a call back. I got a text message to confirm my appointment, I pressed the option to get a call back. I didn't. I called the day before or day of my appointment 30 min before they closed, no answer. Horrible service. They lied over the phone saying they did implants. Not enough staff members. They had me there for over 3 hrs and didn't even did my cleaning instead the doctor offered financial plans for "several treatment" options that he believed i needed all of this before he even took a good look at me!!!!!!!. Went again to Sol Dental, and once again staff was friendly and sweet. Waiting time was shorter, but total wait/service time was 3 hours. Dental hygienist was great and had good people skills. Dr. Patel could really learn from her to make his costumer service experience up to par with the rest of the staff. Would come back for myself but would like to look for a new place for my daughter. Starting with my first phone call to Sol Dental I was very impressed with Eldahi's customer service and phone skills. As a business owner who relies heavily on a customer service representative to handle alls in a professional and courteous manner I was immediately drawn to this office because of her professionalism. The atmosphere in the office/waiting room is comfortable and relaxing, an obvious priority for them. Everybody that made visual contact or came within 2 feet of me greeted me with enthusiasm and a smile. The reason for my visit was a teeth cleaning and the flow from the waiting room to the dental chair was fast and efficient. First stop was with Julio, the X ray guy and blood pressure taker. He was competent and friendly. Next was Gabby and Mandy, the hygienist. They were great and work extremely well as a team. Dr. Patel came in briefly and explained the results of the x-rays and made the appropriate recommendations. Becky, the office manager, followed up on Dr. Patel's recommendations quickly putting together an estimate for the crowns which I already knew I needed. There was no pressure at all and I felt like she did a good job.... actually a great job in explaining the various options. Considering that this was my first visit which usually takes a little bit longer and is expected to be that way I feel I was in and out in good time. Overall I was very pleased with this dental office and their professionalism. I highly recommend Sol Dental to anyone. read more
