This was my first lash lift, a procedure that I had literally never heard of prior to a google search made on a whim. I wanted something to bring out my eyelashes without extensions and this was perfect. I saw Danielle S. for the lash lift. The procedure itself took about 90 minutes including a consultation that reviewed potential complications such as eyelash kinking. When I asked about that the technician explained how it happened and how they are able to fix it during the lift itself. So I went for it, got in a 60 minute nap, and woke up looking like this, lol. Danielle was even able to fix up a bald spot on one of my eyelashes that she had noticed. Super natural look, professional experience, worth every penny for the nap alone. Can't wait for my brow consult in a few weeks!

Considering some salons want to charge $45 for the same service - I only have been using The Concept Salon since I moved back to New Jersey! I also love the salon's easy online booking system; you can see all available appointments and book whenever you need. The salon is very modern and clean. The receptionists always offer you water or coffee even when they are busy - which in my opinion never goes unnoticed. The stylists all take their time and care about what type of blowout you want- I personally prefer Desiree. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the salon does not allow you to book your blowout with the stylist you want; they give you whoever is available which in my opinion is time consuming. If you have a hair stylist you prefer and want to go to regularly is it beneficial for both parties. The hair stylist will eventually know how the customer likes their blowout, so customers do not have to waste time in the beginning explaining or showing the stylist photos. I would LOVE if the salon allowed customers to book with specific stylists, other that I would highly recommend this salon if you are looking for a blowout.

Both times her hair & makeup were done by the same artists. Hair was done by Marlee. My daughter showed her pictures for inspiration, and she has very thick, curly hair to work with. For the chignon style, it down-poured all day, so we struggled to keep it perfect, and the style was the pieces in front, so they didn't quite curl the same once home, but that was not to fault Marlee. Plus, my daughter insisted they be "wavy", though not my taste. Marlee gave her what SHE wanted, and she felt beautiful both times. All a mom could hope for. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the young woman who did her makeup, (perhaps Jenna based on names I just looked up, but I cannot guarantee), but she gave her two completely different looks (a 1950's glam-type, then more of a smoky eye the 2nd time) based on her dresses and knocked it out of the park. This would have been in Spring '23 & '24. I believe she is the primary person who does makeup there. You cannot go wrong w/these women! I am leaving pictures, but out of respect for my daughter am going to do my best to show the work yet block her face. I had many requests after for referrals. AlsoHappy prom season!
