The biggest thing was when I was done, nobody came to ring me up, but they didn't explain how to pay and leave a tip on their tablet they used for payment. On my last visit I was seated next to an elderly lady who keeps a regular appointment with one of the male technicians. He was doting, gentle and very warm towards her. In an industry where you can be just a number or another faceless person walking through a revolving door it's wonderful to see a staff that makes an effort to remember your name and your preferences. I have no complaints about any of the many technicians I've worked with here, but my absolute favorite is Jessica. She is so sweet and always has a smile for her clients. Although they do take walk-ins, they prefer you make an appointment if you are able. This way they can make sure they have enough staff on hand to make wait times short and experiences more relaxed and not rushed. This being said, I walked in this morning (nap time for my 8 month old is unpredictable) and Jessica fit me in and made me feel welcome and pampered. She's efficient at what she does, but did not make me feel like she was rushing. She always does such a fantastic job! She even let me wait in the massage chair while my polish was drying. The salon is clearly brand new - the decor is beautiful and very clean. Although they were packed full on Friday afternoon when I first stopped in, they were very friendly and quickly booked me an appointment for the next morning shortly after opening. On the other hand, maybe because they are so new, their polish selection was a bit wanting. The gel selection looked pretty comprehensive, but the regular polish selection was not as large as I hoped - though they had a good range of colors, so while you may not find the exact color you want, you'll probably find something you'll like. Unfortunately, my nail tech was... ok. She asked me what shape I wanted (square), but seemed to forget halfway through my left hand, when she shaped two of my nails into decidedly round shapes. Rather than try to fix those two nails, she went back and rounded out all of my nails without saying a thing. I also had to point out multiple pieces of lint which got into my wet polish, and when she cleaned up the polish that had gotten on my skin, she accidentally took a bit of the polish off my nail with it. One note - they accept credit cards but appear to only accept cash tips (at least, my nail tech said I couldn't tip on my card). 2 stars for my nail tech (whose name I can't remember - an older woman), 4 stars for the salon itself, so 3 stars for the overall experience. Their prices were reasonable, and I would probably give them another shot if I lived in the area.
