A lot of our myths were busted. Our highest graded embryos did not result in pregnancy while our lowest graded embryo gave us a beautiful healthy baby. It makes sense, when I was a patient and asked Dr. W to test me on ERA/EMMA, she said no because there was not enough evidence. Therefore, I highly caution anyone considering this clinic. They will not test you on anything in the IVF medical world (IE- ERA/EMMA, Endometriosis) or anything else where they do not think has enough evidence to support the testing. I do find it hard to believe that a clinic would not explore all avenues and rule out any concerns by doing such tests. Testing does not provide 100% accurate results, but it does 1. eliminate the possibility, 2. If it does come back positive, then it opens the door for more things to consider and 3. give the peace of mind of the patient knowing that their doctor/clinic explored all possibilities to ensure a successful journey to the patient who is already going through so much. This review is long overdue. I was a patient with Kindbody Los Altos for ~2 years. They have an extremely high turnover rate. It's obvious the company itself is more focused on opening more facilities than they are about taking care of their employees. Kindbody has created an atheistically pleasing facility to make it modern, airy, and bright. Which they mainly focus on the exterior of their company and lack the interior. Communication - I absolutely disliked their communication. You are not able to speak to someone at the office. You have to call into their customer care center who will then reach out the office on behalf of you. When I first joined Kindbody, the nurses and coordinators would take FOREVER to respond. Even when you needed a medication by a certain time, they like to keep you anxiously waiting for further instructions. Care - I was under the care of Dr. W and Dr. J (no longer with Kindbody). They were nice when you spoke to them. But when you are spending so much time, effort, and money, you'd expect better level of treatment during your journey and wanting to find the cause of your infertility journey. Example: After 3 FAILED TRANSFERS, Dr. W tells me she needed to consult with other Doctors within Kindbody because she is stumped on the fact that I can't get pregnant. You are a doctor and you can't figure out why I can't get pregnant? She completely failed to explore all options and diagnosis until wanting to try for a 4th transfer and put me on Lupron to suppress what she now suspects as endometriosis. WHY DOES IT TAKE YOU 3 FAILED TRANSFERS TO SUSPECT ENDO? As my OB during the time, why did it not cross her mind that I may have endometriosis? If your speciality is endometriosis, how do you not rule it out? Let's fast forward from 2023 to end of 2024. I am working with my acupuncturist for over 2 years, and working with a functional nutritionist. They both ask me to get ReceptivaDX tested for inflammation and possible endometriosis. GUESS WHAT, IT CAME BACK POSITIVE FOR ENDO! No one at Kindbody thought to explore the idea that I may have endo. They really dropped the ball on my care. Wasted my time, money, and effort with them. By the way, I encourage anyone even if you proceed at Kindbody, to be an advocate for yourself. If you are diagnosed with "Unexplained Infertility" I push to get tested for endometriosis. New studies have come out that 50% of unexplained infertility is due to endometriosis.

Since this was fully out-of-pocket, I had to be selective and I'm glad I chose them. I was very pleased with my results. Dr. Kort was my primary doctor and made me feel at ease. He's very knowledgeable and patient. The nurses were also amazing: responsive, kind, and skilled with blood draws and protocol support. During the stimulation cycle, I visited the Palo Alto office frequently, and also saw Dr. Kaser for one of my appts and Dr. Morin, who did the retrieval in SF. All the medical staff were caring and professional. The finance department was the only downside. Communication felt impersonal and transactional but it didn't take away from the overall positive experience.

During covid my daughter had video visits or a phone call. Over the years trying to get a neurology appointment here is damn near impossible. You have to schedule literally a year ahead of time. They need to hire more doctors, it's pathetic. My daughter was on rizatriptqn 10mg. I asked if she could have the one that dissolves under the tongue because thats what I take and it hits quicker because it is absorbed under the tongue. He didn't want to do that. At school when she took the 10mg it would make her throw up every time so school would send her home every single time. The clinic tried saying that my daughter wasn't seen in 2-3 years. I told them last year we had a phone appointment with Dr. M to lower the dose, but apparently they don't keep track of that. I told them look at when the meds were put in to change to 5mg... yea thats right, then they found that it hasn't been 3 years since we spoke with the doctor. This is probably the most unorganized office I have ever dealt with. They said that we needed to come in person for a followup which we did. I asked if she can take a preventative medicine since she gets so many migraines every month. He said no. We asked about any other options. So he changed the meds to sumatriptan which didn't do a thing. I had to take he to the ER for a migraine because she didn't have any meds that worked. But this office could care less. The E.R. asked about her migraine history and I told them about her doctor and what she has tried without anything helping greatly. We were going on vacation so I called and asked if the doctor can refill rizatriptan because sumatriptan didn't work. Never got a response. I sent a message on myhealth and called every day that week. I was told every single day they would have the doctor call me. I told them we were leaving on vacation at the end of the week so need it asap. They messaged me on myhealth saying he may want to change to a different medicine. Its never a good idea to try a new med when your going on vacation let alone going to another country. I called again and again and they kept telling me he would call me back. Never happened. It's been 3 weeks,,,, 3 freaking weeks and NOTHING. Thank God she hasn't had a really bad migraine. So this last week.... again calling everyday and I told them Monday I want my daughter to have a new doctor. Again they tell me someone will call me. I call back again Wednesday and they again said I would get a call and that it went to the manager and they saw my notes. They said if I don't hear anything by Friday to ask to talk to the manager. Which I did and they didn't transfer me to the manager. They said Tracy is the manager and was talking to Morgan about it; That for sure one of them would call me within a couple hours. He kept putting me on hold, I was on the phone for over an hour which is outrageous. The guy said he needed to put me on hold again for about 4 minutes, this was about 6 times by now. I told him no, that I have other phone calls to make and asked if they are for sure calling me today, he said yes, they are figuring it out. I said highly doubtful they are going to call me because Ive heard that at least 12 times. No shock, no response. It shouldn't be THAT hard to get a different doctor, that my daughter needs her meds, this is outrageous. Im going to call my daughter prime doctor to request a referral to a different Neurology place. I wouldn't recommend bringing your kids to neurology because you wont get seen in a timely manner (can't schedule even a phone appointment for 6-12 months), never ever get a call back when they say, rarely get a response on myheqlth and NEVER get a call from the doctor when the nurses claim they will call.
