The technician came to the door and unlocked. I had a lash lift and tint. During the process the technician left to go do other things because I could hear working. I was happy with the results but a few hours later I have an obvious eye infection with discharge. I have never had an issue as this was my fourth visit. Please let me know who to contact as this process is now ruined and I want a refund.

I came in, and the woman who started working on me confirmed who I was but did not ask for clarification. I assumed they knew what my desires were and I honestly didn't want to make the woman feel bad because English was not her first language and I didn't think we could have a clear conversation easily. Unfortunately, my lashes do NOT look natural. I very clearly look like I have fake extensions on. Another woman working there came out after she heard that I had exclaimed, oh my these are much longer than I expected. She spoke English as her first language and communicated to me that I had requested "sexy" and I told her I requested no such thing. She told me next time I should ask for cute and some other adjective that I'm not sure of. And she also said I should not go "longer than 11". I think she tried to make things better but I was disappointed with the situation. I just wanted natural looking lashes.

I came here as a first-timer on a Groupon for a Dermaplaning Facial with Custom Hydrojelly Mask. I…read morewas so pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism and quality of care, that I will definitely be a repeat customer! Here's why... when I purchase a Groupon, I never know if I'm going to get the full service, or an abbreviated version since I paid for the service at a discounted price. I called this location just prior to purchasing the Groupon because I wanted an appointment for a specific day. I spoke with Monica, who was very pleasant and set up my appointment. We did end up having to reschedule for a different day, but Monica was very professional in giving me enough notice and working with me to set up another appointment right away. The day of my appointment, I arrived at the exact start time and apologized as I usually like to arrive earlier to fill out the paperwork. Monica greeted me and said it was no problem. As I was filling out the paperwork, Dr. Fondacaro walked two patients out. He smiled and seemed pleasant, even though my treatment didn't involve any interaction with him. Monica performed the Dermaplaning and explained the whole process before we started. You have to lie very still, so there wasn't much talking during the treatment. Monica asked what I was looking to improve, facial skin-wise, and was very helpful in examining the condition of my skin and telling me what other treatments would be beneficial and what treatments I can skip. To me, not talking someone into something they don't need is the sign of a good professional. The custom Hydrojelly Mask was (and literally felt like) the icing on the cake. Monica's demeanor and soft & steady hands allowed me to relax and trust her (which is needed when you have a scalpel so close to your face). And if all of that wasn't enough, Monica even reached out to me a few days after my treatment to make sure I was doing well. I gotta thank Groupon for helping me find this place. I can't wait to return and try the Perfect Derma Peel Monica recommended!

Unfortunately, taking a pill to "go to sleep" is going to make you wake up in the middle of the procedure multiple times. By doing general anesthesia (AKa going to an actual clinic) it also ensures that the doctor is able to be AS THOROUGH AS POSSIBLE with whatever procedure you're going through. I definitely burnt my wallet by coming here, I should've went to an actual clinic. The doctor and his assistant are very friendly, but it's definitely not worth it going here. The results are extremely mediocre compared to what you pay for

I purchased a Groupon for microblading here. I read some positive reviews about this place and made…read morethe very wrong assumption that because it was in Ridgewood I was "safe." After two hours of microblading, I sat up and looked in the mirror; I was in total shock. Not only were my brows two completely different shapes, they were different heights. I looked crazy - My face looked completely lopsided. The woman who did it acted like it was no problem to fix. I laid down, trying to be calm and trust that it would be okay. 45 minutes after the allotted two hour time, I look at my reflection again... She went over the area she messed up on using a flesh tone that didn't even match my skin. Not to mention - the shape was still insanely off. She kept saying "I'm so sorry; I worked so hard. I'm so sorry." I was sick to my stomach leaving that afternoon. I left crying and the woman at the checkout barely looked at me. Come to find out she was the owner. I got my composure and took pictures of the work- sending it to as many places as I could, looking for advice. Almost all of them said that they couldn't help me- the work was so bad, it couldn't be corrected. I called my hair stylist and booked her right away the next day. I came in wearing my hat but one brow came down so low you could still see it! All the girls at the salon tried to console me - they were all shocked at how this could happen from a "professional." I left with heavy full bangs to cover them up. I did not want that haircut, but it was the best option I had. Finally, I got an email back from a woman who said she could help and that the only way to do that was tattoo laser removal. I have gone for one of the three sessions so far. They are $300 a piece. Aside from the expense, the removal is painful and it is going to take months to get back to myself. Exclusive Day Spa was absolutely abysmal when it came to rectifying the situation. They told me, "call back in a week," because the woman who gave the service was on vacation. They took days to get back to me, and when I sent pictures the owner told me she couldn't tell what the work looked like from them and that I had to come in in person. The salon was an hour drive and coordinating with her was a pain too. When I did come in, she had such an attitude. She barely looked at the botched job, never apologized, and acted like I was bothering her. She told me to sit and wait 15 minutes to see that woman who messed me up. She must have been screwing someone else's face up. I sat there livid. Finally she said- "Let me see it again if you don't want to wait." I showed her. Again. She then said, "Call Groupon. I can't refund you, they have to." I just stormed out. I drove all the way down there for that? Ridiculous. I got in touch with Groupon right away. At first they weren't going to refund me, but I pressed because it just wasn't right. Finally, they agreed to a refund and escalated the situation to avoid future issues for their customers. I am not one to leave a bad review. If Exclusive Day Spa had even worked with me I might not have... but they should not be providing this service as they are clearly unqualified. This is a serious thing to get wrong and it has caused me serious self-esteem issues. I feel stupid for even messing with my face and for going to this place to begin with. Lesson learned. Avoid this service here at all costs.
