My garage door spring broke late on Saturday night, after some on line searching, I called Don at…read moreA1 Overhead Door on Sunday morning. He was able to come by a few hours later, he had what I needed in stock and completed the replacement efficiently. While he was at our home I asked a lot of questions about my door and opener quality and I feel he provided a very honest opinion. His comment on the door is that it is a lower quality (builder spec) door but not to worry about changing it until there is an issue. He noted some potential future issues with the door (of which I was already aware but I just wanted a professional opinion). Don is obviously focused on service quality to his customer and not on selling them something they do not need. I respect that a great deal as I find this business/service quality very rare and difficult to find in Calgary. I will definitely call Don again for any garage door service I require and I strongly recommend him to everyone I know. Thank you Don!

I called with what I thought was a broken sensor, and they responded very quickly to my call. The…read moreservice tech (Mike) was very quick at "fixing" what was just a sensor that had come off the rail. He showed me how to fix it myself in the future. With that, three minutes after his arrival, my door was fixed and working again. But instead of just leaving, since he was already there and had to charge me for the callout, he also adjusted the height and chain, lubricated it, and also pointed out some future potential problems I should be on the look out for. The person who took my call was very courteous and helpful, and, as I said, response time was phenomenal. Mike was excellent, and I appreciated his work, ethic, and personability. I'll definitely be calling them in the future when I need more repairs.

These guys are a rip off! I hate even giving them one star!…read moreThe guy came to our house ( late by two hours) took a quick look and quoted me $480.00. He had a small handful of parts in his hand and was done the job in 20 minutes. When he was done he said that I would receive a work order which would be emailed to me. Still waiting for it. I would caution you to use this company and do your diligence to get a second quote. Because, we were in a rush to get to a appointment I did not have much time to argue with him. When you think most people are honest and get ripped off because you are in a predicament ticks me off! I threw away their label and will never use them again.
