I called with what I thought was a broken sensor, and they responded very quickly to my call. The…read moreservice tech (Mike) was very quick at "fixing" what was just a sensor that had come off the rail. He showed me how to fix it myself in the future. With that, three minutes after his arrival, my door was fixed and working again. But instead of just leaving, since he was already there and had to charge me for the callout, he also adjusted the height and chain, lubricated it, and also pointed out some future potential problems I should be on the look out for. The person who took my call was very courteous and helpful, and, as I said, response time was phenomenal. Mike was excellent, and I appreciated his work, ethic, and personability. I'll definitely be calling them in the future when I need more repairs.

My garage door spring broke late on Saturday night, after some on line searching, I called Don at…read moreA1 Overhead Door on Sunday morning. He was able to come by a few hours later, he had what I needed in stock and completed the replacement efficiently. While he was at our home I asked a lot of questions about my door and opener quality and I feel he provided a very honest opinion. His comment on the door is that it is a lower quality (builder spec) door but not to worry about changing it until there is an issue. He noted some potential future issues with the door (of which I was already aware but I just wanted a professional opinion). Don is obviously focused on service quality to his customer and not on selling them something they do not need. I respect that a great deal as I find this business/service quality very rare and difficult to find in Calgary. I will definitely call Don again for any garage door service I require and I strongly recommend him to everyone I know. Thank you Don!

Creative door was professional, efficient and timely from beginning to end!…read more Right from the service staff who made recommendations as to what door to choose to the installer who gave us some helpful hints on how to maintain the longevity of our new door based on the structure of our garage. The installer's advise was very much appreciated. The installer was on time (in fact, early), quick, efficient and cleaned up his work area taking away our old door and parts. Truly, a great experience. Not only did we need the door out of necessity but this expense increased the visual curb appeal of our home a great deal.

I was having issues with my garage door opening. The name left with me from the builder was…read moreCreative Doors Calgary. It took persistant calling for several days to finally get someone to take my call. I always got "they're in a meeting". I was told there would be a service call charge, and that perhaps I needed a new remote. The appointment was booked for the afternoon, but my doorbell rang at 11am, with the agent stating I was wrong. However, I never ever book any appointment to my home before 12 noon, due to shift work. I learned an expensive lesson on why my door didn't open using the remote. The agent never left me an invoice and said I would be emailed one. One never arrived. My bill however did for close to $250. I phoned the company and again took several days before I could speak to someone. I was told I would receive a call around 4:30pm. I waited for that call. It never came. finally I got an email saying it was a service charge and vehicle/supply charge. I never received a new remote as one was not needed and no supplies were needed. My garage door was only 1 year old. An average price for a service call is around $80. I will be taking it up with my credit card company. The service is slow, poor communication and terrible customer service. I see consistently in reviews that communication is bad for years. Nothing has improved many months later.
