This place feels super safe- when I went, I was pretty much shadowed by security forces wearing armored vests with walkie-talkies. This is actually kinda the entrance to even fancier places, a ferris wheel, and high-end residences. The mall doesn't seem to have any public restrooms. There is no food court, just a smattering of high end places that are kinda tucked here and there throughout the mall. Parking looks challenging. I'd rather take the bus here. When I went, it appeared that they were expanding the footprint of this shopping mall.

We came upon this store first, due to it sitting across the way from our usual coffee shop. We walked in to a very clean and well-lit store. The salesman wasted no time in showing us their new models as well as telling us about their current promotions. We found what we wanted, and proceeded to check out. The prices were considerably less than expected, and an added bonus was the Moneyback system they have. The staff was super helpful throughout the whole process. They were not too pushy, and provided outstanding customer service. I would recommend them.

I saw security wandering around, and there aren't any locals hassling the tourists for change. In the near future, the causeway across the lagoon is going to be completed, and the causeway is going to drop off vehicles right in front of this shopping center. It'll be the first thing you see when you drive to Cancun. The future is bright for this shopping mall. The place has a bunch of different vendors and retailers here. However, at some stores, we still got aggressive and pushy people who tried to talk us into buying merchandise. Joe K was looking to buy a Mexico Fifa soccer shirt, but he needed a XXXL which never seemed to be available anywhere we looked. One salesperson tried to talk him into a shirt that was made in China. The shirt was obviously too small, but he kept insisting that Joe try it on anyway. I couldn't help but burst out laughing at how snug the shirt fit, when this guy was so desperate to make a sale! At another shop, I showed interest in a small glass Mayan step pyramid. I was told that it was $65.00! I immediately put it down and walked away. Even though I really liked it and wanted it for my pyramid collection back home. I'm so glad I didn't pay that exorbitant amount of money when, days later, I found the same thing at another smaller shop that sold it to me for $15.00! There are 2 larger pharmacy's with everything from hot sauce to over the counter medication and antibiotics. They Los have a fish spa but we were to nervous to do it. We loved these day of the dead Mannequins. There is a Bubba Gump Shrimp And Outback Steakhouse! Check in or ask one of the shop owners for free drink cards. We were able to do all of our shopping at one place in one afternoon! The larger Mall Isla was next door. Go there if you want name brand Louis Vitton, Prada, Gucci etc!

Equal parts chill and charming, this pup deserves its own lounge chair and a tiny nameplate. Ambiance, service, and espresso liqueur aside, I'd come back just to hang with the canine concierge. The lounge was well stocked for this event with a number of Regional Cubans from Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, Portugal and Asia. Fully stocked bar with excellent mojitos and a great lounge to enjoy authentic Cuban Cigars.

I was kind of creeped out by this as it was as if they were expecting violence. All the usual high end brands are here: Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dolce & Gabana, Prada, Tiffany, Cartier, Rolex. It was not busy when I visited & I wonder if this part of La Isla is ever busy. I just don't imagine most visitors to Cancun shopping for high end merchandise. It is the same price as in the US. The only difference was that if you made a purchase, you could possibly get the 9% tax refunded on leaving Mexico. You just need your credit card, store receipt, passport, immigration form & flight ticket. That said, Golden Goose had me complete the form online and I never received the refund :'-(
