This is a classy mall with lots of artwork upstairs to admire and a very nice coffee shop to enjoy a break and relax amongst the art. The coffee was very good. The mall itself has many classy stores but there are a lot of empty spaces as well but it's nice to get into an A/C space and relax.

We were staying close in the area and the plaza/mall is great. Mini mall of high end stores, supermarket, pharmacy, food court,....

After checking out the price on what it would cost to visit the Mayan ruin site by tour bus vs. by car, we opted to rent a Volkswagen Passat for the remaining stay as it was way cheaper. Today we ended up at this location in the hotel area of Cancún about 23 miles northeast. I was here 25 years ago. Sadly upon entering this mall, my partner and I noticed only a handful of stores remained open. One interesting place is the Tequila Museum. They will show you where the blue agave comes from, methods of cooking and fermentation and ageing.

This was the other shopping plaza we came to on our last day in Cancun. It sat a few minutes farther from the other shopping plaza. This plaza is mostly indoors. There is an older, more desolate wing to this place that sits closest to the bus stop. But walk further and you'll encounter a busier part with plenty of shopping options. Throughout this mall, there were art displays that added a nice touch to the place. The stores we found here were the same or similar to the stores in Los Angeles. The place was busy with tourists buying up clothing and souvenirs. The staff was friendly, and it was a relaxing environment. I'd say this is another great shopping option, comparable to the other plaza that sits along Zona Hotelera.

We were in desperate need of replacement contact lenses. While there are lots of places that will sell sunglasses and eyewear, optometrists were hard to come by. Luckily our concierge made a few calls and found us this gem of a place to get replacement daily wear contacts. Maria at Óptica Lux took excellent care of us! Thanks to her professionalism and attention to detail we were fitted for new contacts in no time! We were able to enjoy the rest of our trip without having to go very far or wait very long!

If you have a rainy day, or got too much sun or just want to go shopping, this upscale mall is the place to go in the hotel zone next to The Royal Sands resort. They have gift shops to bring souvenirs home as well as upscale clothing and gift stores. Ruth's Chris is located here as well as Cenecola which we go to at least once each year. You can watch them make the pasta when you walk by the restaurant. And while we were in Cancun last fall, a WONDERFUL grocery store opened on the 2nd floor of the mall called Soriana. For those of you who always head to Walmart once you arrived in Cancun, that trip will no longer be necessary!!!

Beautiful mall right in front of the Barcelo Tucancun Beach hotel. There's a variety of high end stores, but also some reasonably priced souvenir ships. There's also a "Tequila Museum" which is rather small and more of a tourist trap, but the adjoining store has a pretty good collection of souvenirs and a large variety of tequila. One of the more interesting things I ran into was the Fish Pedicure. Not entirely sure how sanitary it is, but basically you submerge your feet into a tank (after cleaning them) and the fish eat the dead skin off your feet. Weird. I enjoyed standing there and watching the expressions on people's faces. The 2 hour complimentary wifi that you get inside. It's particularly convenient for people staying at Barcelo who don't want to pay for their spotty wifi. There's also an HSBC bank with an ATM inside that generally gives better rates than the hotels themselves.

The mall was air conditioned, clean, 80's modern, and safe with mostly middle range shops. The Food court was easy to find. There were a couple sit down restaurants. We went to the sushi restaurant but the hostess said there was a long wait. We settled on Pizza Hut for my youngest which had a surprisingly long wait. The rest of us ate Chinese "Cajun" food which is similar to what's offered in all US malls. Everyone was fed for about $35. The food was a little greasy but filling. I had to use my Spanish to order everything. The staff were all very friendly and hospitable.

It has every store you can think of from dirt ass cheap to very expensive and upscale. There's TONS of food options, a 4D theater, cheap covid testing, and a huge discount grocery store. I could've easily spent a full day here exploring all the goodies! I'm most impressed with Calcium nails where I got my gel acrylic nails done for $14 USD. I was also amazed by the grocery store. It had clothes, food, shoes, towels, alcohol, literally EVERYTHING. Like a big ole even cheaper Walmart lol. It can be very packed in the mall and a lot of people just walk right into you. I thought that was weird but hey what can ya do? I'm definitely looking forward to going back and exploring the mall even more.

Most stores were a more pleasant place to be able to quietly think and not have to say "no thank you" to every store owner or employee. However, at some stores, we still got aggressive and pushy people who tried to talk us into buying merchandise. Joe K was looking to buy a Mexico Fifa soccer shirt, but he needed a XXXL which never seemed to be available anywhere we looked. One salesperson tried to talk him into a shirt that was made in China. The shirt was obviously too small, but he kept insisting that Joe try it on anyway. I couldn't help but burst out laughing at how snug the shirt fit, when this guy was so desperate to make a sale! At another shop, I showed interest in a small glass Mayan step pyramid. I was told that it was $65.00! I immediately put it down and walked away. Even though I really liked it and wanted it for my pyramid collection back home. I'm so glad I didn't pay that exorbitant amount of money when, days later, I found the same thing at another smaller shop that sold it to me for $15.00! This is the same mall where I wrote a review on one particular store by the name of La Perla Tapatia. https://www.yelp.com/biz/la-perla-tapatia-canc%C3%BAn. I hope to never go through a negative experience like that again! We were just thankful that the efficient bus service in Cancun was a life saver to us on several occasions when it is necessary to get away from the exhausting vendors that won't leave you alone!

Wayan was one of my favorite stores. Their prices are firm but their quality is fantastic! We were able to negotiate good deals with Jesse on silver and he even did shots with us when we're done. There are 2 larger pharmacy's with everything from hot sauce to over the counter medication and antibiotics. They Los have a fish spa but we were to nervous to do it. We loved these day of the dead Mannequins. There is a Bubba Gump Shrimp And Outback Steakhouse! Check in or ask one of the shop owners for free drink cards. We were able to do all of our shopping at one place in one afternoon! The larger Mall Isla was next door. Go there if you want name brand Louis Vitton, Prada, Gucci etc!

If you are thirsty, they have bottled water. They have tequila samplings, though not all the time. I was there when they had a sampling with a scorpion in the bottle (ummm ... no). They have some small snacks near the cash register. The place has TONS of Corona beer clothing and souvenirs. They probably have a few hundred different Cancun t-shirts. They have caps. They have Sombreros for $17! They have beach covers. They have dresses to include white cotton "confirmation" ones. They have lots of ceramics and hot sauce bundles and vanilla in various sizes. They have souvenir magnets. Pretty much if you can imagine it as a souvenir, they have it. And, prices are much more reasonable than at other shops. Who has $10 t-shirts at La Isla? They do! Additionally, they have 2 benches in front of the store with 2 figurines that are good photo spots!
