She gladly checked them out for me and gently resolved the issue with my glasses. She even offered to clean that pair along with the sunglasses I was wearing. Here is what makes it so good: Selection - There are nearly every high end brand and style of sunglasses you could possibly want. They are all on display where you can physically pick hem up, and wear them. No pesky cases or tags to ruin the look. Employees - There were at least four or five employees working when I visited. They were all very friendly and helpful. They were even sympathetic that I was trying to buy a new pair of glasses and chasing children. I was worried they may think that was some sort of diversion tactic to steal glasses, but they understood. Prices - In line with all other retailers. Other than Jasmine, both this local store and Sunglass Hut International were both beyond terrible. I have never received such horrible customer service. I had a friend wanting to replace my Ray Ban's as a birthday gift that were stolen (at an auto shop), and since she could not come in due to work, she went online and ordered an SGH e-gift card so I could pick them up today. How long does it take to buy a pair of sunglasses? Apparently, according to the rude associate on the 800#, it takes two days for the e-gift card to be processed. They could have saved me a trip across town and an hour and 45 minutes in the store with an associate that didn't know S*** from Shinola. They offer 2-day free shipping, so why would anyone use the e-gift card? Because this is a birthday gift, I asked the associate that was on the phone with the regional manager not to bother my friend, but they called anyway! FTL!!! I have purchased many Maui Jim's and others from SGH in the past, but they just lost my current and future business. My friend is going to cancel the order and purchase the sunglasses elsewhere. I suggest you do the same! While I was there I witnessed another customer trying to get warranty service on her shades, but the associate refused unless she had her receipt. Who keeps their receipts on them for this type of thing. They even log your information when you make the purchase, and she even used an SGH card to buy them. What a joke!

When I contacted Sunglass Hut, I was informed that they would not honor the warranty because it had expired just days earlier. I find this absolutely ridiculous. These are expensive, premium glasses, and I would expect them to last significantly longer than one year. The fact that they stopped functioning almost immediately after the warranty expired is frustrating enough, but Sunglass Hut's unwillingness to offer a reasonable solution makes the situation even worse. As a customer who purchased these glasses directly from their store, I expected better customer service and some consideration given how recently the warranty expired. A warranty may have an expiration date, but good customer service shouldn't. I am extremely disappointed with Sunglass Hut's handling of this situation and would hesitate to purchase another expensive product from them. One star. I expected better from a company of this size and reputation.

While the staff were friendly, I was not a fan of the setup. There was a huge selection of brands and styles, but the good glasses were all locked in cases. I didn't want a cheap pair so I had to get someone to unlock the case and wait while I tried on several different pair. This was a long and tedious process because the salesperson had to carefully remove and replace the glasses I wanted to try, plus hover near the case so no one would snatch glasses. I ended up getting frustrated and leaving without a purchase. The employees were really wonderful, but I prefer an environment where I can pickup any pair I want and try them on immediately. I guess their method prevents theft, but it is frustrating for the consumer.
