On a recent trip to Biloxi, we drove to Gulfport and stopped by here to shop at the Coach store. I…read morewill be honest...I shop mostly online these days and I don't have a lot of experience with outlet malls. But I was impressed with the beauty of this mall and the cleanliness of the streets. There were many stores and eateries to visit. The architecture was super cute and put me in mind of a little village. At the Coach store, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and I even received a 10% off discount after telling the cashier it was my first visit with them. There was a bigger selection here than what was at my store back home and the value at the Coach store is always worth the cost, depending on what's purchased. Biloxi is always a fun trip and I would visit this outlet again for my shopping needs when I return.

They recently built few electric charging stations in north east end of the outlet. A few new stores have opened and few stores have closed but still have the signs up. A little misleading. Even the website says it still around. Hopefully, it will be updated or they are closed for renovations? I found out they do not offer a food court anymore. Bloomingdale's is there instead. I was baffled when I walked into Bloomingdale's outlet. I thought I made a mistake. That would explain why they have a few food trucks on south side of the outlet. They also renovated the playground. I am not sure if they expanded it too? Please let me know? They do offer free Wi-Fi. I am not sure how the speed is? Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a good deal! Great selection for all. I am sure they have a store for someone in your party. Easy access off the highway. I-10 and highway 49 south. Just take the first right off Creosote Road. Be mindful of the traffic. It depends on when you go. Please refer to the website for hours or any available information and deals.

The clerk was also pretty clueless about the special. He rung up an extra item to see if it worked and it didn't. How about a magnet or a T-shirt that says "Welcome to (insert beach name here) Beach!" in garish colors? Or a coffee mug that says I heart (insert beach name here) Beach!" Then run on down to your local or the nearest Surf Styles! They have your "anything remotely beach related" needs. From 90 cent beach toys to $75.00 flip flops, overpriced tanning lotion to quirky cool cheap sunglasses, there is something for everyone here. I can spend hours of precious tanning time in this store milling about The stores are always located very near a beach. This particular one is in Gulport, Mississippi on the Gulf of Mexico. They store is big and stocks everything. This one has a larger than average food/grocery section likely due to the area being decimated after Katrina. It was one of the first things built following Katrina, and it was a welcome sight. It's almost always a must do part of a trip to the beach when you haven't been in a while. The store has cool air conditioning, and tons of things for people to buy in any price range. You can take you kids in there, grab a couple t-shirts and a towel each and drop less than 30 a person. Each summer, we all go in Surf Styles to pick one of the big (giant) beach towels hanging on the wall. The only con is that they have no public restrooms, normally this is not an issue, but in an area like Gulfport with little existing infrastructure, this can be hard on people with kids. The employees are usually polite and the long, snaking lines move faster than you would expect. On Father's day and Mother's day they give away free gifts. That is a kind gesture. I like Surf Styles and still smile when I look at the little mementos I have acquired from each trip to the beach. I especially dig the bags they give you, they are reusable and are super convenient for follow up beach trips or even for Mardi Gras beads. Every time I see one on the parade route I smile and am reminded that my next trip to the beach is coming up!

The person said there were no appointments available that day but when I explained the situation she said to bring the glasses in they would figure out a way to fix them. I went in and sure enough they fixed the glasses (that I was sure were unfixable ). Not only that but they recommended a store to go to to pick up some things. The folks there were friendly and unbelievably helpful. Now the hassles part of the story I needed glasses in the next day because we were heading out to our next destination that was in Texas in the middle of nowhere. I called the "one hour" glasses place and they couldn't use my current lenses to make new glasses (state law) and I needed to get a prescription. I called my existing Opthamologist (his practice was recently bought out by a mega ophthalmologist company) and after multiple hassles and false starts they sent the prescription. I then called the "one hour" place and they said they couldn't use the prescription since it was over a year old (state law - who knew Mississippi the home of small government had so many laws). That is when I called Belk and they made everything good.
