Love the doctor on duty - he's performed every exam I've had and is not only very professional but also knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you may have. Occasionally this store may be super busy, but when someone greets you to let you know you'll be taken care of next or that there is someone in front of you, you know they will get to you as soon as they are through with the customer ahead of you. Highly recommend this store and its employees!

When I initially got the glasses, the lady warmed up the ends and bent them in, but it wasn't enough, especially due to the excessive heat where I'm currently stationed in Texas, they just slide off my face. I flew into town on leave a little over a month ago and went into the store and the sales lady said that she could not alter them, even after explaining I have not been able to wear them because they fall off my face. I asked to speak to the manager. Her name was Katlynn at the Augusta Mall and she came out and rudely stated she couldn't do anything about it and that I needed to contact the manufacturer, before walking off. Essentially, I have a pair of glasses that I'm not able to use, and I need glasses to see daily. Buyer beware!

It has now been over three weeks, and my husband still has not received his glasses or his contact lenses. Every time we call, we get a different excuse and no real answers. There is no urgency, no accountability, and no follow-through. We trusted them with our eye care needs, but this experience has been nothing but frustrating. I would not recommend this place to anyone until they seriously improve their communication and reliability.

I normally use 1800 contacts because eyecarebydesign is always so expensive, but with this price I thought why not. After a month and a half, they finally came in. Only three months worth of contacts were given to me. So I called and told them, this is when they tried to convince me that 12 weekly contacts is 6 months worth. After I finally got them to agree that it's only three months, they said they must have misspoke telling me 6 months and that I can only get three. This isn't even going into the fact that the weekly's that they put me in can't last more than a day before non stop sticking to my eyes. It's a shame because when I was a kid I remember this place being so nice.

At the end of 2017, I needed new glasses so I dropped in for an exam and the possibility of lens made on site. The wait for the doctor was as long as would be expected (35 minutes); I was a walk-in and expected a wait. The doctor was quick and efficient. He managed to be personable even though I was his last patient before he left for vacation. My visit today was just as pleasant. Different doctor, but just as personable and entertaining throughout my exam and our discussions both before and after the exam. Additionally, he offered suggestions for my continued health and eyesight. My only real complaint was the wait. Even though I scheduled an appointment last week, it still took half an hour to call me back to take my measurements and an additional 20 minutes to get back to the doctor. This seems out of bounds when they were expecting me. Time management isn't this practice's strong suit, but if you have the time to spare, this is the place to come for same day glasses and contacts.

Even going to the counter to pick up my glasses there were 2 women there, no one even acknowledged my presence. I always wait when approaching because you don't want to assume they are available or they have another customer, so I waited a few moments to be sure. One started cleaning the counter. The other talking on the phone- a personal call- so I approached and they were not happy I pulled them to ask for my glasses that were ready. I did happen to have to go back to have my glasses adjusted and a cute young girl with glasses was welcoming people in. She assisted me and was able to adjust my glasses - as the person who should take the time to do when you receive/pick up your glasses but they didn't. I went back about 2 more times after that and only dealt with her due to all experiences. SHE is the reason this Eyemart Express gets the single star. What is important but unfortunate, I can't remember her name! Where in the world in this city is consistent great glasses and customer care!? I found 1 place then they closed.
