I had a really frustrating experience at this Sunglass Hut location in the Asheville Mall. The…read moremanager (or person in charge) was not helpful at all. Instead of actually explaining anything about the purchase and why I could not return, they just kept saying "they've been worn." No real explanation, no effort to assist--just repeating the same thing. Obviously, customers try things on to *see if they like them* Wear them--that's the whole point of trying them before 30 days. There was no patience, no customer service, and no attempt to make the experience positive. I expected better guidance and basic courtesy from someone in a management position, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Definitely disappointing. I even informed him I would try elsewhere, and he was very nice to say ok. He did not even put a smile on his face, A hello, nothing. So, of course, I felt he was just over his job. Childish behavior. I am sure this store location will not be open much longer, as the location is located at the mall where all the homeless are located, and that area is falling fast.

Well hello EYES!!!…read more Can I just say...I was in awe just from looking through the front window. The moment I noticed the optical shop, I had to stop through! I felt like a kid in the candy shop! I spoke with Daniele and she assisted me immediately with selecting several frames. I had a certain look and she helped me bring that dream to life! As a therapist, I had to get the "look" and I feel that was achieved. So, what's so special about this place is, they are family owned and they actually cut their own lenses...so what they means is, instead of waiting 2-3 weeks to get your frames, you can have them in about 2 days. I would have had them in 1 day but I was late to waking up and they close at 5pm. Otherwise, they are the quickest office I've ever been to and literally THE best! I paid out of pocket but it was the best because there aren't a lot of special places like this one. So I have to give credit where it is due! Thank you so much for your expertise and taking the time to provide excellent service! Until next time...cheers!

My two new pair of glasses and new lenses for my current frame are perfect right out of the box. I could not be happier, nor can I rave highly enough for the service and the attention I received.

They had everything from bottles of honey, honey sticks, bee pollen, honey supplies, and more. I ended up buying a beautiful bottle of the sourwood and a few honey sticks in fireweed and meadowfoam. The honey is both local and from other states too! The staff is beyond friendly. I highly recommend making a stop to check this charming shop out.
