After signing a wedding florist contract with this company for $55K, they overcharged my credit…read morecard by $1K. I noticed and contacted them right away and I patiently waited for a refund, only to find that my credit card was charged again for $700 without my knowledge. They cited POS issues and thanked me for my patience as I continued to wait to be refunded. As time went on, I asked them to use the mischarge towards flower petals to be tossed by guests - they agreed and confirmed that they would provide this service. My wedding has now passed and they failed to remember to provide the rose petals. I have requested a refund, and they have made up every excuse that they can think of as to avoid refunding me this overage. They are now claiming that the contract is actually a 'working document' and that they had the wrong labor rate in our signed contract ($95hr instead of $150hr) and that I actually owe them money but we can 'call it even', and they are stating that they added an additional centerpiece to tables (without any communication, approval, sign off, knowledge, etc.) and that is why they didn't end up providing rose petals (?), they are stating that they had more labor attend the event than they originally planned (again without any communication, approval, sign off, knowledge) - they cannot even keep their excuses straight and it has been over a month since I originally requested the refund. DO NOT hire this vendor - they are simply making up prices - they added a $500 pedestal to my contract with an associated $326 sales tax. They are falsifying numbers. HIGHLY recommend going with Aspen Branch, Flower + Vine, Siloh Flowers or Design Works. Mountain Flowers is my biggest regret from my wedding day (I got married at the Sundeck). If you do hire this vendor, take screenshots every time they send you a contract because they use a link system that they can update at any time and you won't have anything to reference back to if not. Thankfully, I took screenshots.

I had a challenging day yesterday, yet needed some supplies to make a headpiece for a little girl who is celebrating a life ritual today. I walked into Susan's Flower and Gifts and found Jody Ensign behind the cash register, she pointed me to the back and Lynn and another woman ( I am sorry I didn't get your name) were working hard fulfilling a wedding order. They stopped what they were doing to give me the small supplies and even contributed some beautiful flowers for the garland. I then went up to choose a piece of comfort chocolate and Jody gave me a piece. As I opened my wallet she said, "No charge Sheri. I hope you have a better day." Omgosh, did I have a better day? YES, I left with tears in my eyes because I was reminded of the beautiful friends I have made here and the deep roots that run between those of us who found are way home to Carbondale so many moons ago.
